The perfect replacement mouse
Firstly, I’m an old school gamer having played PC games from a very early age and I have owned a Logitech G5 mouse since they were first released. Loved the weight system and feel in the hand.I purchased a G503 to replace the G5 but I can’t stand the feel in the hand. It’s now brand new in the box, just sitting there. This particular mouse has been a sensational replacement.First things first, the look is clean, clinical almost… the weight is unbelievable… I almost thought it had parts missing it is so light. I added the 3M grips and the thing just feels great in the hand. Ergonomically this thing ticks all the boxes. The battery life is incredible. Once charged you will not be thinking about it and the charge cable has been designed so well that it does not impact your use when it is plugged in for the short time it takes to charge the device. The mouse glides across any good surface seamlessly. I have large hands, and it fits comfortably in my hand be it for researching online or gaming. I’ve actually plugged it into my Xbox and it runs fine with full compatibility. I’d advise you to plug it into a PC first to set your DPI profiles up before plugging into your console, but once done you can change your DPI on the fly. It’s very easy to use, with no additional drivers needed and plenty of macros that can be setup if required. The button clicks are tactile. The side buttons are quiet and well placed. If I was being picky, I find the back side button a little out of thumb reach for me, but as mentioned I have large hands. The mouse wheel feels good quality and generally the whole device seems really well made.My personal opinion is that this device is very high quality and performs at a high level. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a high performance wireless gaming mouse. It is well worth the money… I’m even tempted to buy another one as a spare to keep for the eventualities that could occur in years to come 👍

Compatibility in the bin
I noticed when I moved the mouse in games my FPS would uncap then when the mouse stopped it would recap itself so there was a stuttering. Turns out having a high polling rate conflicts with alot of popular games, I had to turn it down to 500hz which doesn't noticeably affect anything, feel like I've paid for premium and instead have ended up using the lowest end of its capabilities. The rest of the mouse is good and fits my hands well, the white is nice. Only 2 mouse buttons is a bit of a bummer considering I went from a g pro to this, I am used to using 4 in games. Overall I would say it was not worth the money, I definitely feel like I've overpaid. But the actual mouse is solid.

Good
Had this mouse since 2021/2022. Best mouse I’ve had, charges SUPER fast. Only issue: one of the side buttons has been used so much that it now occasionally double clicks. This is only an issue in games such as Dota. It’s comfortable to hold and is light. Scroll is fine. I have a small hand so it’s slightly bigger and it’s nice. I’d buy another

Excellent. Battery lasts for a very long time
Excellent. Battery lasts for a month, even when using the mouse for at least 8 hours per day for work related tasks. Charges fast, dongle works from 1m+ no problem, cursor never moves unexpectedly, and is very responsive for games and work. Works well with a hard mouse pad.

No complaints
Class mouse, people complain about the price, if that’s the case yes there is cheaper mice, with very similar specs, shapes, weights. however Logitech has the cost for a reason, good quality to the cheaper attack shark I had, better sensor, more responsive, better skates, a better feel when clicking and holding due to the grip tape and greater settings on the app. If you have the money and are willing to buy it’s a no brainer, if u want something cheaper that’s also fine, your just going to miss out.

beware if buying "used like new"
Someone bought a gen 2 light speed, packaged their very used gen 1 back up and returned it to amazon, ofcourse they didn't care because the two look identical from a glancing view, clearly poor quality control on this regard. As for the other aspects I noticed of the 1 day I used it, connected fine after restarting my computer, fits well in my hand, mouse 1, 2 and middle mouse were all fine, side buttons were mushy feeling however, might have been fixed for the gen 2.
