OMESD33 Old Man Emu Steering Damper

I noticed that the old steering stabilizer on my 1994 4Runner was leaking, so I decided to buy the best replacement. The OMESD33 stabilizer is probably twice the thickness of the original one, but it fits right in. After installation I noticed that my steering was tighter and bumps in the road didn't affect my steering as much. Off road it was superb. I felt like I had much better control of the steering. The only issue I had was removing the old stabilizer. I had to use heat and a pickle fork to get it to pop off. Overall I definitely recommend this product.

good damper, nice quality, very heavy duty, looks great in yellow, smooth action, very burly setup, perfect for my 33's.

Stock steer dampener was shot and was getting close to death wobble with wheel spacers. Installed the ome stabilizer and all wobble dissapeared. A pickle fork and a big hammer makes removal of the old dampener easy. Make sure you get the right size pickle fork or you'll be wondering why it won't come off like I did. Installed on 93 4runner.

Solid product, my only complaint is that is does not come with a castle nut and cotter pin like the oem design. Also the one that I purchased didnt come with a nut at all and was different thread rate than OEM. I called ARB and they said they would mail me one but it never came so I got one from Rainbow Bolt. Happy with the quality but the cotter pin would be nice as i had the nut on mine back off this weekend and I lost it on the trail and didnt have a nut of that size and thread rate.
