STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS VENT
The media could not be loaded. Amazon wouldn't approve my initial review. Too many delicate feelings. I'll be returning all 3 ASAP STAY FAR AWAY. Just look at the pictures, this stuff is a hack job. Cheap cheap cheap materials. Check out OdorHog it's Superior in everyway.

Septic Smells are Gone
Bought a house with a septic tank artfully placed smack dab in the middle of our backyard, directly inline and upwind of our kitchen with windows and French doors to a nice covered patio overlooking a pond. Even after the tank was pumped, the miasma would waft throughout the house whenever the windows or doors were open. Especially concentrated in the kitchen. It was impossible to get past the rank smells so even on the most beautiful days we'd keep the windows closed and avoid the patio. Well, I slapped this bad boy on the vent and it's like we teleported from the 1854 London cholera pandemic to the modern age. My only gripe is that it's real goofy looking but I think that's more on the location of the septic tank than on the product itself.

Didn’t work for us
Gases kept backing up…called customer support they offered a refund but I’d already painted it the color of the house. So it’s just sitting in my garage. So try it before you alter the product.

Impressive
This filter is working well, no more smells at all. My only complaint is one of the filters was missing a screen for the bottom and it was fast er to order a new one so now I have extra parts and carbon.

The Wolverine carbon septic vent filter is working very well in eliminating any sewage odors.
The filter is very easy to install. Requires no tools, easy to fill the carbon and just slides over the vent pipe.
