I love it.
I use it every day to store medication. Works great. Super easy. The beep is loudish but I like knowing it's working. Not a single fail yet. Love it. Hold a lot.

Safe keeps small items safe!
I don't believe this safe is actually fire rated, but for everyday items like watches, rings, and wallets it holds it all and keeps it out of temptation. Things I really like: -the lock is digital -the code process is easy to program -can be bolted Things I don't like: -inside the safe was a little plan. Cheap but good save for low end security storage
This is our 3rd safe of this type and probably the most cheaply made. That said, it does exactly what we'd expect, and that is to provide basic security to the items which can fit inside. If a thief really wants, he can probably carry the safe away with him and break in later.. that's why we use these for non-cash documents and other miscellaneous items not having any great value. The safe works. The combination is easy to program and the batteries of this type safe usually last years. A pair of keys are included if needed, though you will need to remove a piece of the cover plate to see the keyhole. It can be bolted to something to provide added security.

Ok, but no instructions for muting keypad beep.
Bought one locally. I concur with other reviews, but there's no instructions about how to mute the beeping. Either they overlooked that part of the instructions, or the claim is false and it can't be done.

Keep sensitive items secure
The first concern I would have with a gun in the home is safety from children, and making sure they couldn't access it. This is a reasonably priced safe that isn't heavy duty, but will do the basic job. It's large enough to hold a handgun and some other sensitive items, or a few handguns if you have multiple. The operation is simple, and the main thing to watch out for, as others have noted, is not letting the batteries deplete.
