SmedentDental Study Teaching Teeth Model Adult Typodont Model Removable Tooth

My daughter wants to be a dentist when she grows up so I thought this would be a great introduction to that world. She really likes it and has learned a lot using this model and the recommended chart. My only complaint is the fact that a few of the top teeth, which are meant to be removed, are no longer fitting back into place. This hasn't happened to any of the other removable teeth. Because it's on top, they fall out every time she opens the model. Other than that, she's happy.

Extremely disappointed with this purchase. I am a dental hygienist and was really excited when I found this model, as we had one at a previous office that I worked for, and used it all the time with patients. Upon arriving, I immediately noticed the terrible quality in which is was made. All of the markings look as if someone colored it in with a physical marker. And did a really poor job with it, at that. I then happened to notice that none of the teeth removed at all, not even the teeth explicitly stated in the description. When I examined the model, all of the teeth were off. I only have one area with an implant, and not even on the same tooth as the model in the products original picture. I didn’t have any examples of bridges, or anything accurately stated. I could understand that for someone not in the dental field, the differences wouldn’t make a huge difference, but knowing to look at each tooth in comparison to the way the product was supposed to arrive, almost no tooth matched up with the pictures. All together, an extremely disappointing purchase.

This is a great dentoform to show your patients everything from bridges to root canals to implants and even plaque. I use it often with my patients. It's obviously not made very strong but for its use it's just perfect

I bought this for a 7 year old who has in interest in dentistry and didn't know what to expect. I was amazed when it came in because there was so much involved in it, with all the seemingly realistic dental ailments and repairs for such a low cost. It's the real deal; meaning the same thing you'd mess with at the dentist office while alone while worrying you'd might break it or get caught.

This model is probably most useful for patient education; as you can see from the photos, there are many dental problems and restorations represented. As some of the other reviewers stated, the representation of anatomy is not good for a study reference if you are trying to use it for a dental anatomy class, but it is accurate enough for patient education.

it is great for the price. the quality is not amazing but for the price it is great, would buy it again.

This is a nice model to have in your dental oporatory to help explain implants, bridges, fillings, and root canals to your patients. I ordered one for myself (I'm a hyginist) and my dentist followed up and ordered several more for the office when I showed him mine.

The build quality is good, however it could be more informative if ALL the teeth came with the numbers labeled, nerve Indications and proper roots
