I needed extra shelving in the base of my (cool) airing cupboard and chose this as the best available option for me. Sturdy once put together, and easy to assemble - it took 5 minutes, if that. After reading the reviews and looking at the the shelves, I assembled the shelves in place, since it seemed likely they cannot be picked up and moved. The assembly instructions are diagram only but were easy to make sense of. I bought this item because it was the right size for my needs, and had 40cm deep shelves - the standard 30cm shelf was too shallow for me.The ventilation is good so that air can circulate through the items on the shelves. The unit has swallowed a vast amount of stuff - towels and bedding and odds and ends - and I am very pleased with the purchase, which cost a lot less than having custom made shelves put in.

I bought two similar perforated plastic shelving units and they were both dire.This one has no "click" into place when the parts are put together and when you try and move the unit, the uprights come out and the feet come off.In addition, I put two half full small bags of light compost on the top shelf and the next day it was not only bowed badly in the middle but the plastic had split. These were nowhere near the weight limit given.As I said in the review for the other similar shelf, it is better to pay more for a keter shelf. I don't own shares in keter but their plastic shelving is very robust and stays together. It costs more but you get what you pay for! Not that these were cheap!

As a lady in her 60s with some dexterity/joint problems I found this item very easy to put together - even though the diagram provided was not really of much help. It was obvious where most of the pieces should go, so I started from the bottom upwards - placing the feet in the bottom shelf first and working from there. 1 little problem, I assembled it in the house (due to pouring rain) and when I lifted it to take it down the garden some of the legs came loose and it came apart - so I would recommend assembling it where you mean to use it.It fits easily into my 6x4foot shed, with plenty of space on the shelves to hold all my plant pots - large and small, plant feeds, buckets etc, it is good to have the floor of the shed cleared of clutter. The shelves are robust and supported some objects that were quite heavy without creaking or bending.This was much better quality than I expected for the money paid, now I am thinking of buying more for all my items in the attic.

I'm not using this in a greenhouse, shed or house. I have this in the garden as a work bench for potting up plants. I stand all my plug plants etc on the shelf below, store the pots on the bottom shelf and use the top shelf as my 'potting up' shelf. It's brilliant and because it's plastic, it can withstand rain, sun, hail and so long as it has something heavy on the bottom shelf....high winds too.

Pretty sturdy for plastic racking (will take a much greater weight (within reason) than most other plastic racking). Really easy to assemble (no tools required). Ideal for Garages/Sheds/Greenhouses/Attics as it wont rust. Worth fixing to a batten with the supplied clips to give extra stability. Bought 2 x 3 tier for the shed, and will be getting a couple of 5 tier for the garage (but will get a metal one too for the really heavy stuff). First time the shed has been tidy in years!
