I personally enjoy statistics so part 6 operational management is a must ...
As Head of Logistics and Group Compliance Officer, this is all I need. For anyone wishing to start their career or top up their knowledge regardless of how long they have been in the profession this is the one stop excellently written publication. For anyone currently doing studies regardless of level and I include university under or post graduates in this the level of content is invaluable. From chapter 1 with the introduction to logistics and distribution through to the more involved chapters looking at warehousing from all angles through to planning, costings & international freight forwarding which is new to the 2017 publication along with new information regarding trade off analysis.I personally enjoy statistics so part 6 operational management is a must for me. The acronyms and abbreviations 9 pages is a must for those new to the industry as there are so many abbreviations it is easy to get lost with the meaning but this resolves that problem. Using the index is without doubt the perfect stop to locate the topic required. This publication is my sanity check in an ever-changing world of logistics.I do recommend this book to anyone who is committed to their continued development at any level, I have been in the industry for over 30 years and have always had a copy of this publication. If you only want one book this is it.
