Sockwell Men's Elevation Firm Graduated Compression Sock

I had a recent blood clot and purchased a variety of different compression socks to help with my continued ankle pain. I tried different levels of compression, and they all work to some degree. This product has been my go-to when the pain is most present. It really helps! I bought one pair at first to see how well it would work, and I just bought a 2nd pair because it works GREAT!!! I wear these when I go to work (standing all day), and these are the ones I wear if I am travelling or going on a long car ride. And as I mentioned, I wear them if the pain is noticeable. When I put them on, the pain just goes away. They are expensive for socks, but they are so worth the price. They were a little difficult to put them on the first time, but I got used to it pretty quick. No problem putting them on once I knew how to do it properly. They are made well, and they seem durable. I'm very glad to have found this product. Now, I'm just hoping that my wife doesn't lose one of these socks in the wash! Socks seem to have a limited lifespan in my house! : )

Planning to travel to Japan meant a 14-hour flight – in coach! That made it imperative that both my husband and I purchase and wear compression socks. After I researched various brands and styles, “Sockwell Men’s Elevation Compression Socks, Black, Large/X-Large” were better suited to my husband’s picky preferences than other options. Stockwell uses a higher percentage of natural fibers than many other brands of socks. As a result, they wicked moisture better and did not make his feet to sweat more profusely. They were firmer (20 – 30 mm Hg) than the majority of compression socks (10 – 20 mmHG). The socks’ graduated compression and well-fitted feet made “Sockwell Men’s Elevation Compression Socks, Black, Large/X-Large” the socks for him. Sizing is always a challenge when it comes to purchasing any clothing online. My husband wears an 11 to 11 ½ Medium in shoes. The Large/X-Large size fits him well and is comfortable. At its maximum point, his calf is about 16” in circumference. The socks extend to the crease in the back of his knees – about 17" from the floor; this circumference of area also measures about 16”. His foot is 11” long and the circumference around the arch is about 9 ¾”. “Sockwell Men’s Elevation Compression Socks, Black, Large/X-Large” are constructed with care. Unlike my socks that had a more prominent knot on one side of the toe area, my husband’s socks had smooth toe seams. The top of the sock has a rolled, zigzag-stitched hem that approximately 3/8” wide. It has not rolled during wearing. Although these socks can be machine washed and dried, I prefer to hand wash and dry them flat. I believe this will increase their useful life. Amazon’s price for these socks, combined with PRIME shipping and free returns, makes them a much better value than the same item purchased from one of the online travel clothing retailers.

Good quality and comfortable. What one discovers is, these socks are hard to put on when you are a senior citizen and need help putting them on but they deliver.

They are excellent socks in all but one respect. The price is extremely high and while they last longer than most, they do wear out on the heels faster than one would expect. I own many with no regrets but frankly while Physix and other that are TRUE firm types wear out faster, they are easier to don and cheaper in the long run. So I will no longer purchase the otherwise excellent Sockwells. Sockwell: You should lower price to something more reasonable. Or at least put them on sale once in a while. Note: Many so called firm rated off-brands are NOT FIRM. Be warned.

These are truly great compression socks, and they really do work as advertised. My normal shoe size is M 10.5, so based on other reviews I got the M/L pair, and I'm very glad I did. They are only slightly difficult to get on, but once they are they provide a perfect "medium-firm" level of compression. They aren't uncomfortable whatsoever, they're extremely soft (if you've ever worn Darn Tough socks they feel identical thanks to the merino wool), and my puppies don't sweat in them much at all. The only con with these is that they're pricey, but honestly I think they're worth it. The difference is night-and-day between these and the budget pairs of compression socks on Amazon: these are softer, thicker, stay in place the entire day, don't cause any sweating, but most importantly they actually provide the advertised 20-30mmhg pressure. I'd rather pay a premium for a pair of these socks that work correctly, versus only spending a fraction of the price on ones that don't provide any benefits and risk tearing after only a few wears. Especially since these are intended to alleviate physical pain, which is one of the few products categories that I'm willing to spend a premium on. So all of that being said, I emphatically recommend these if budget isn't a concern. They work remarkably well and provide a ton of relief for my always-sore runner legs.

These sock are the perfect level of compression and very comfortable. They wash well and have not faded as of now. The price could be a little better, but the quality is good. I find that my legs are less tired wearing this particular brand.

Even though they are wool they keep your feet dry and energized. My doctor recommended I buy for swelling. At first I bought the type that aa dozen for the price of one pair. Even so, I still feel these are the better value. They last years and don't stretch out. They keep the restrictive quality that helps with circulation and swelling much longer than the cheaper brands. They work better, last longer, keep your feet dry and cool. I'm on my feet a lot and do a lot of walking. These socks give my feet comfort and energy, while aiding in the reduction of swelling. Not too hard to get on and off. Seem to last forever. I've been wearing my first pair for about seven years and they still work as well as the new pair I just bought. They're expensive, but worth the cost.

Man schwitzt nicht darin, da sie ausschließlich aus Naturmaterial bestehen (Wolle, Bambusfasern).Außerdem sehen sie gut aus. Man kann sie auch im Sommer tragen, ohne dass man schweißgebadete Beine hat. Sie sitzen gut und rutschen nicht im Gegensatz zu den herkömmlichen medizinischen Strümpfen.
