A must buy/read for all leaders. Great authors. Some of the formatting for jumping around in the ‘figures’ was a bit challenging as. It jumped around a bit.

I’ll start with my bias. Business books are almost never worth reading cover to cover. I can count on one hand the books that have been in the last 20 years. Unleashed is worth it.The authors go through the trouble of relentlessly editing so that each sentence, paragraph, section is super high signal, and virtually zero noise. As a reader I’m grateful for that. But to want to read it thoroughly also requires providing insight. It’s here in spades.Unleashed provides both a set of frameworks and a how-to toolkit, delivered in engaging stories and high candor.The frameworks center on your impact as a leader in enabling others to unleash their potential — which is precisely what’s required in leading companies and organizations. I realize this topic is often handled in the most paper thin and hand-wavy of ways, but the examples and synthesis are anything but. They’re substantive, clear and, yes, unapologetic. It’s a delight.The first half deep dives into the impact you can have *when you are present*. The second half goes into achieving similar high performance *in your absence*.Exceptional impact can occur when you’ve designed both the strategy and the culture — that is, created a distinctive focus, and high standards/high devotion environments — such that team members lead with them even and especially when you’re not in the room.Frei and Morriss have devised tools that accompany each framework that you can use to gauge where you’re at, and how to continue your journey.When I kickoff work with teams, we often ask “What does success look like?”…for the upcoming build, acquisition or go-to-market motion. Painting the vision, using data as supporting evidence, and getting concrete helps us all get on the same page for what we want to make true. This book helps you ask that same question of yourself.Unleashed sets the bar for what success looks like as a leader.

Prof Frances Frei is a great Business guru helping Organizations and individuals navigate issues around values and ethos within them. You can watch her YouTube videos or listen to her Clubhouse talks where she disseminates key concepts from this book. Great learning !

I simply adored it.So well written, full of details and practicle examples, it’s better than any other coaches or leadership courses you can get on the topic as it’s not only talking about the topic but it focuses on the increasingly importance of diversity and inclusion and how to include them into leadership strategies.
