Seems pretty good quality. But since this is a starter set, I don't really know how it compares to other brands as far as foam density. Have made a couple of weavings and am so far pleased with the function. Printing is nice and clear. Not much else to say as it's such a simple device. I think the quality seems good for the money. Decent tool for a beginner who just wants to try out cord making without spending a lot of money.

These are made of a foam material that is holding up better than expected. It’s an excellent way to keep yourself organized when making woven bracelets or braided rope. The value for the pricing is excellent.

I saw a video on YouTube while I was looking at Paracord videos and came across this gem. I had to give this a try. I am SO happy I did. This not only has the 6 inch disk I was looking for, but it also comes with several other disks that you can find other videos on YouTube if you're not sure how to use them. So far, I have been able to use 3 out of 5 of my set. The only thing I don't like about these is I'm not sure how long they will last by the given materiel. They are made out of some kind of foam. Having said that, all of the other brands of these are made out of the same materiel. I'm guessing this is so it does not damage your threads as you are weaving with them? With the cheap price of these sets, it's not really that much of an issue when it comes time to have to replace these. Each one is also marked so it's easy to follow along with the pattern you're using. I will most certainly be purchasing these again.

Feel of the discs is soft, no weird texture to them, I used one of the higher count discs to finish a braiding project i was doing, and these were definetly easier to use than the little cardboard disc I made.Will be making some more braids in the near future, excited to do a flat one.

These were a really cheap way for my husband to save time when making homemade lanyards. He loves these and they are so easy to use!

A terrific bargain. Every Kumihimo plate you could ever need. Solid, well made and well-marked. I've only used two of them so far, but the others are waiting for me to try new!! I especially recommend these plates to beginners, because for one price you'll get every possible plate you'll ever need.

A little stiff when I first started using them but its better now.
