How do you use this product?

ok most engines that use 5 quarts have a problem. Please be sure to fill your oil filter half full with oil before inserting into vehicle. this will reduce ware and tare on your oil pump. this will also make it 4.5quarts to be put into the motor. replace the half quart with Lucas Oil stabilizer. doing this will not only extend the life of your oil pump but the oil life as well; so that the oil doesn't burn in the start of the motor when there is no oil in the filter.

Can I put this in a 2000 Honda Civic manual transmission?

Although this is an old question, there is a lot of wrong information in this answer thread. That generation Civic used a Honda brand only 30 weight transmission oil. The difference between the Honda product and a normal SAE30 was the addition of an anti-foaming agent and the shear resistance additive. A standard 30 weight would promote syncro wear as it lacks the shear resistance needed for lateral movement across the syncro hubs. At any rate, should you have syncro issues and need an additive in an older honda D series transmission you may want to consider adding a BG additive for manual transmissions that helps with shifter feel.

Is this for a 1 Gallon Bottle OR 4 Quart sized Bottles? Description says 4 per case???

I am not finding where it says "4 per case" but the image is the 1 gallon and I order 1 and received a single 1 gallon container.

Can you use this regardless of the weight of your conventional oil? (5W20 is needed in my Element)

The bottle states it works with all oils including synthetics... I mixed it in my Mini Countryman 2014 with full synthetic oil, no problems and it stopped the white smoke that would only occur after 10-20 minutes of idling the car.

国産30年経過の2リッターターボ車両のエンジンとMTミッションに投入しました。添加量は10%以下、だいたい7%程度の様子見程度ですが少し変化が分かりました。エンジンについては雑味のある音の減少と始動後の水温安定が早くなりました。ミッションは変速時にギア当たりが柔らかな、優しい手応えに変化して、いかにも保護している感があります。ドライスタート時の保護、熱を吸収し取る、高負荷での粘りは実際に投入時の粘性からも間違いない品質です。

J'ai une Mustang GT 1998 , le moteur ( 186 000km ) va tres bien et tire encore fort mais il consomme 500ml par 1000km. L'an passé j'ai ajouté une bouteille de Lucas a mon changement d'huile , le moteur consomme beaucoup moins d'huile , c'est maintenant +ou- 500ml par 5000km , une consommation normal pour un V8 de 26 ans !
