Griffin Reflect 6204 - Hard Case Mirrored Chrome Finish for iPod Touch

I am a fan of Griffin's iPod products and had a Reflect case for my old 80gb Classic. I decided to buy one for my iPod Touch because I really liked the one I had on my old iPod.This product is really top notch. It comes with one(1) screen protector and a cleaning cloth.You place your iPod in and snap the front and back close. That's it.Now the reason why I gave it 4 of out 5 stars is due to the description in this ad. It did not state which generation it's meant for. I have a 3G/3rd Generation Touch. It does not work with it. This one in particular is meant for the 1st Generation iPod Touch - WITHOUT the volume control buttons on the side. I am bummed out, but I only lost $5, which isn't a total loss. I'll just give it to someone and brighten up their day or something.Despite the snug fit, once your iPod Touch is fitted it feels great. The overall size is a tad bigger, but nothing that would hinder docking.Again, the product is top notch. The description for the sale is vague.This is meant for the 1st generation iPod Touch!!!

This case fits a first generation ipod touch PERFECTLY. If your ipod touch has volume buttons on the left side it is NOT a first generation ipod touch. I purchased this case to protect a used ipod touch I recently purchased for my children. So far it has survived more than one drop! It's getting harder to find cases for these older ipod's. Thankfully this one is still available. Yes, it is difficult to remove this case, but why would you want to???
