Great barbeque
Great BBQ. Heats up really fast and sturdy construction. The charcoal lasts the same time as a normal BBQ - some reviewers have mentioned it burns quickly. I can only assume they didn't read the manual and kept the gas on after the coals had lit. There is no issue with access as one reviewer said - the doors fit on the front, not the back 🤣. The cast iron grill plates are much better than enameled ones, and easier to clean. Storage is provided for the charcoal holders. Taller than other BBQ's I've owned, which is much better to cook on. The only downside to the BBQ is the cost of any accessories you might want to buy.

Excellent good quality BBQ
Bought this for my husband and he loves it. The BBQ was straightforward to put together and the instructions very clear. It is a very sturdy piece of kit and once assembled easy to use. So far we have used both the coal and the gas. If you have time then the coal is great and the flavours more Smokey. However if you don’t want the mess of getting rid of the hot coals etc, then gas is brilliant too, specially if the weather is nice you can do great quick BBQs with no mess. It’s also very easy to clean.

Excellent BBQ
Excellent bit of kit. Get ready for a very large box when delivered. Lots of nuts & bolts to use and tighten. Love the fact that it can be gas, pure charcoal or a bit of both.

Nice BBQ
I opted for the BBQ to be built on delivery so cannot comment how it is to build. Two men built it in just less than a couple of hours. Looks amazing and very sturdy.I did take time to look at the assembly book, it didn't look very clear to me. Having looked at many Char-Broil YouTube videos, I was trying to find out if you need to remove the 3 silver gas covers before you place in the coal tray. I've seen videos that have them remain inside whilst I've seen others which have them removed first. The book suggests they should be removed, again its not clear. I decided to leave them in because they protect the gas burners and I want to keep it as clean as possible, this method worked fine, placed a flat layer of coal and lit the gas, it was really hot and smokey in less than a few minutes, turned the gas off and started to cook the food. Please could somebody kindly reply if you know if the silver gas plates should be removed when using the coal tray. Thanks in advance. The heat seemed evenly spread, I made use of all the BBQ cooking space, all the food was cooked exactly the same so no cool spots, it tasted lovely, smokey and the smell was amazing.Behind the BBQ there's a sign that states not to store your gas bottle on the shelf under the BBQ. I have a big bottle that won't fit anyway, would be nice to have it out of the way but that's no big deal.Easy to wheel to my garage at the end of summer. The Char-Broil protective cover for this model is a bit expensive, but probably worth getting it to save the elements ruining the BBQ.We also used it without the coal tray just using just gas and we regret it, food was still cooked even and tasted amazing, Its very awkward to clean the base. It does a good job of draining the grease into a grease cup, there's no getting away from the thick burnt oil that burns onto your base. I would therefore recommend always using the coal tray if you like to keep it clean.Overal I'm happy with my BBQ, food tastes lovely and very easy to get going. If I could change anything, it would be much better to have a base tray that you can slide out periodically to make cleaning easier. Great BBQ all the same for the price, looks nice and would recommend.Note this version did not come with the bottle opener I've seen on other 3 burner models.

Assembly review - not cooked yet
BBQ Assembly ReviewOverall, I’m very pleased with the BBQ – it looks solid, stable, and well-constructed. The materials appear to be of good quality, and once assembled, it gives a strong impression of durability. That said, the process of installing the gas hose was unexpectedly difficult. It proved to be quite a challenge, requiring significant effort and unfortunately resulted in a couple of cuts to my fingers. This part of the assembly could certainly be improved, perhaps with clearer instructions or a more user-friendly design.Despite this hiccup, I’m genuinely excited to start using it. Looking forward to some great outdoor cooking sessions!

Excellent Bar b Q
I love the idea of bar b q ing and have bought various types over the years. Charcoal would be my preferred option but I haven’t had much success. No patience!! I tried my new Gas 2 Coal last night for the 1st time and it was perfect!! The operating instructions are excellent. Charcoal in, full gas for 15 mins lid closed, gas off, 5 minute rest with lid open, 30 minutes with lid down before cooking. It takes the guesswork out of the process and the results were fabulous!!I bought the 2 burner version and it’s surprisingly big. It looks very American (because it is) and was easy to assemble. The instructions are really just a series of diagrams but it’s easy enough for 1 person. Took about an hour. The gas regulator didn’t seem to fit the bottle valve but I had one from a previous gas bar b q which works fine. Getting the hose onto the nozzles was a bit challenging but I soaked the hose in boiling water and squashed it on. Nice n tight.
