Question 1

How long do i need to use the products before i get the results and can i use regular, non-curly hair products in between when i'm waiting to smooth?

Hi there :)  You will see immediate results after use, but over time the more that you use curly hair products with natural ingredients the more curl definition and volume that you will be able to achieve.  Also, the type of results you will get depend on your natural hair texture, how healthy or damaged your hair currently is, and the styling process.  For example, you will receive more volume and definition if you dry your hair using our diffuser than if you air dry.  A good thing to know is also that you are using the right amount of product.  If you use too much product it may weight down your curls, and not enough you might need more product for moisture & curl definition.  I recommend checking out our 30/60/90 method video on youtube for recommendations on the styling process.  In terms of other non-curly hair products honestly it is hard to say. It really depends on the products and their ingredients. For example all of our products are free of silicones, sulfates and parabens.  They also are formulated especially for achieving the best results for textured hair.  Depending on what your other products are, they may or may not work well with our products.  hope that helps!

Is this product good for thin wavy hair?

Hi, yes this works great for thin wavy hair.  It helps define your existing hair texture, so for wavy hair it will help bring out more of the waves in your natural hair pattern.  I suggest check out some of our Rizos Curls videos on youtube for hair tutorials.

Hola el producto se tiene q aplicar a las raíces también? pues eso me ha producido caspa con otros productos a pesar d haberlos usado solo en puntas

Al aplicar productos para darle forma y estilo al cabello como lo es nuestra Curl Defining Cream, sugerimos que se evite aplicar en las raíces para obtener un volumen máximo. Sugerimos aplicar este tipo de productos aproximadamente a una pulgada de distancia de la raíz.

Question 4

Will it give some lift to short, straight hair with cowlick that makes hair fall forward on forehead?  will it scrunch for interest vs boring flat?

It’s heavy and made to retain curls.  I’m not certain it will not cause your short hair to be flat.   I have curly hair.  I’m not saying this isn’t a good product - but its for curls.
