Blue PowerCarbolic Soap - 4.4 oz - Lot of 10

Purchased this when i heard of life buoy soap. I wanted to try for myself. I heard this was the dupe since they no longer make life buoy. I washed my hands with it. While washing, the soap lathered up good with lots of bubbles. It is slippery feeling for a long time so I had to really scrub my hands to get the soap off. Once done I dried my hands and they did feel overly dry since my skins natural oils was stripped away. This soap has a certain scent that I cannot put my finger on but it reminds me of a medicinal smell, closer to the smell of what cloves smell like but not as strong. This scent did linger on my skin for a few hours. After cooking food, the scent was still there but barely.I think this is a great soap for athletes, people who sweat more than normal, people with skin conditions that cause rashes and pimples and blemishes, and children and elderly who struggle with skin conditions. I will be using this soap from now on as I think it would benefit me well. I will make sure to use some type of lotion or skin oil to prevent my skin from drying. Highly recommend! 10 out 10!

Soap may be strong - but I like it. The fragrance is reminiscent of Lifebouy from long ago. Until I starting looking for Lifebouy, which, apparently, is no longer made in the formulation I used in the 1950's did I know it was a carolic/phenol compound. So I bought this product. While it is not Lifebouy it is nostalgic in appearance - red - and in its fragrance. I'm accustomed to using liquid bath wash/gel products that are detergents and not soaps. So I have become used to the slippery feel and not the "squeaky clean" feel of soap such as the Blue Power Carbolic Soap. Possibly, for me at any rate, this is a novelty item, yet for some people the benefits of a carbolic soap may be a compelling reason to use it on a regular if not daily basis. I'll use it after hard day or working at the ranch in the summer. But for going out to dinner with friends I'll probably use liquid bath wash - with a milder and less assertive fragrance. In the end I am pleased with the purchase and prompt delivery.

In the past I've heard about this soap and was hesitant to try it but the more I read about it the more I wanted it so, I gave it a try* I'm glad I did!* Not enough words to say how happy I am with this soap* I love the smell, I love how clean it makes me feel* Now I'm stuck with a ton of other liquid soap I know I will not be using* I am hooked on this Carbolic soap!!!* I wish I knew about this sooner*Great stuff*Blessing's

I love carbolic and Dettol soaps. We have animals. Chickens. Cats. Etc. the carbolic soap is antiseptic while not being drying. Love it.

It’s soap and apparently is great for disinfecting, so I’m keeping them and giving them away but also telling people it smells bad. I got a lot. The packaging was probably the coolest thing. It came from Jamaica and had all of these stamps. The reason I got is because apparently Marilyn Monroe smelled like it and some viral thing on social media lol but I don’t think it smells good lol sorry it’s the product it self not a bash on ppl who sell it. From my research though it’s actually good for disinfecting so that’s good

Folks, this stuff stinks. :) It smells very very strongly of carbolic acid, the active ingredient. Not the most pleasant smell in the world, but this isn't a soap intended to have a nice smell, it's intended to kill bacteria and it does that very well.I recommend a closed soap dish, such as a travelers soap case, to cut down on the odor.If you have kids who scrape knees and elbows, or you nick your hands frequently, or you just have to come into contact with far too many things of questionable cleanliness....get this soap. Better than hand sanitizers.PS- keep a bit of hand lotion around it you use this multiple times a day, it will dry your skin out a bit.

This smells like nicotine and a bonfire. But cleans well. I only use it on my feet the scent is so strong.
