Good quality material. I found it helpful for a beginner. It does make freaquent reference to a particular software but software is an essential requirement of the process. There are not a lot to choose from

10/10 i haven't finished the book yet, but it's very good to see what can be achieved.As yet i haven't bought a cnc machine, and it's good to know what you can do and how to do it.Thanks amazonEspecially nicole ,concerning fusion 360

Great book for learners

This is not a bad book and does give a bit of information for beginners. It is written in a easy to read format and gives the reader ideas for how to improve. Others have complained about it's constant mention of vcarve software, well it does mention it but it also mentions others and to be honest vcarve is a very good software option.

I had trouble finding a page that didn't have mention of V-Carve Pro software else a screenshot of the same on it. Given I was looking for "CNC Essential" information, and I don't have or intend buying V-Carve Pro this was a real let down.The book looks well laid out, and there are lots of diagrams/screenshots hence giving it two stars - my issue is with the title of the book not matching the content I suppose.
