My Green Cheek Conure can talk to me now!!
I’ve been watching video of dogs communicating with buttons so I thought why can’t I teach my Conure as well! Banded it in his cage and used it to communicate “bathroom” and now he’s potty trained. We use “noisy” when he’s too noisy. “Calm” when he’s good and quiet. Most words he ends up saying but can use this when he wants!! Love it! Only wish is that it was programmable, some words I want just aren’t on there. Finding something this small that he can push that is programmable has been impossible! Still worth every penny! We love it!

Good Little Tool
It’s nice for a starter product to try out the voice is very robotic which I wish would be a normal spoken voice to help children understand more. It’s not super expensive so I wouldn’t say to expect perfection.

Okay for dipping your toe into AAC
These are okay. The biggest problem is they are a bit quiet and there isn't a volume control. The next problem is they are a little fuzzy sounding - could be more clear so that they are easy to understand. They do the job enough though that my grandkids have been able to use them for communication (both have expressive communication disorder). I'm hoping the other equipment we bought will be more useful.

Stress relieved.
We have only had this device for about a week , but we are loving this device. It has reduced our stress with diaper changes with our four and a half year old son significantly. Now that he has a form of communication with us he no longer fights, kicks at, worms away from us, or screams during his diaper changes. I feel like it has also reduced his stress in the fact that we can Now understand what he wants easier when he is using this device.

IT STOPPED WORKING DAYS AFTER The return window, which is ridiculously SMALL. No damage or missuse
The idea of an affordable 'introduction' communication devices shall enough and light enough for my 4yr old son to manipulate. He is autistic and non verbal and early this year lost his mobility and independence along with his ability to use ASL after having 3 massive strokes.Dislike that its non returnable after just past a month, and IM REALLY UPSET that it broke with no reason JUST as he was starting to initiate he wanted one of the 3 things id been using it consistently with using hand over hand ( I had it placed on a low mantle alone where he could easily ' point ' to it with his eyes) what a huge set back! Not the $ even worse his willingness to work with something after 11 months of trying cards, apps, to find a new way he was confident and comfortable and ABLE TO USE to communicate only to have the damn thing stop working right as he finally felt comfortable with the idea of something and was starting to get the hang of!

Just worked for one week
The media could not be loaded. It is an excelent idea for non verbal people but mine just worked for one week and then it didn't anymore. I also tried to change the batteries even though I only had it for one week.

Finally something that isn’t stupidly expensive to help my kid
I’m really happy with this. The price was what attracted me to this originally. It’s amazing what other companies charge for autism devices. They can truly rip you off (the same functionality you can find in the general toy aisle costs exponentially higher just because it’s branded for autism 🙄). But this is great. The voice is loud and clear. I do wish that there was a manual on how best to implement this for my autistic child. It only contains the device. Otherwise, I have zero complaints. I will be sharing this with other parents for sure!

In my opinion. Not worth the money for an ALS GRAMMA
Not helpful for an ALS gramma who can’t speak to us.
