Basic Nylon D-Ring Adjustable Elastic Side Reins

These are a great pair of side reins!!! My horse is a "typical" horse size and they fit him perfectly. Helps so much to keep his head down and on the bit!! They are great quality and I will be using them for the rest of his life!!! The price is great and my horse was very comfy in them. They have a good range of adjustments as well.

These side reins were short (perhaps they should indicate the length when advertising) so I had to buy clips in order to add length. Otherwise they work ok. They might work on a much smaller horse than mine. She's 14.5 hands so maybe for a pony?

The horse size is way too small!!! I can’t use them as they are meant to be, on the “loosest” ring, my horse has his nose touching his chest, I didnt even bother using the rings. I’ve been attaching one buckle to the bit and the other to the surcingle, it’s the only way my horse can comfortably stretch into the slack. Until the buckle broke, with no tension being applied......I hate to write bad reviews, I should have sent them back when I got them and realized that their horse size is more appropriate for my mini horse :(

We bought these to use with a surcingle that we also bought on AMazon. These work great, we have only had them of about 6 weeks but we use them every week once or twice for our geldings physical therapy program.

These are very durable but aren’t long enough for using on my ottb with my saddle I can only use them with my Surcingle

The end to end measurement is misleading. The attachment at the girth is a fold over and snap on a ring. This is 12-14h pony-horse size.

These side reins are way to small. Could not even due up on the looses clip with my 16.2 tb. Clips are cheap.Horse size would work for a large pony.
