Does this work right away?

Purchased this product, Reeses pinworm medicine 2 Oz, for my 28 son and he used for about a week, washed all clothes, bedding etc.  These worms come out of butt at night, that is why people can't sleep so you need to wash sheets every night or sleep on a washable or throw away pad.  But change clothes, bedding everynight.  The worms will finally die.  He must of eaten something.  Rest of family did not get it.  But this does work.  Also no insert was found in box so my son went on the web to get instructions.

The box and the bottle say to read the insert, but there was none in my box.  Is there anything important on the insert not on the box/bottle?

Yes, the information on the insert is extremely important.  To get rid of pinworms, you not only need to take the medicine (takes about 3 days to fully eliminate the worms), but you also need to follow the steps outlined in the insert.The pinworm eggs (almost microscopic and very contagious) are actually laid on the outer folds of the anus and can scatter throughout the house.  Make sure you are gently cleaning the rectal area first thing in the morning as well as hands and fingernails, wash beddings by folding sheets (etc.) over the bed instead of quickly tearing them off, bedroom floors, bathroom floors, and any surfaces that might be touched throughout the house. Instantly but you have to take it 2 times . The first time it kills the worms and the second dose kills the new worms that hatched. It’s really good
