This cork grease does exactly what it’s supposed to do. It applies smoothly, helps the cork slide easily, and doesn’t leave any sticky residue. I’ve used it for a while now, and it keeps my clarinet joints moving freely without drying out the corks. The consistency is perfect—thick enough to coat evenly, but not so greasy that it attracts dirt or dust. It also has a neutral scent, which is a nice touch compared to some other brands that have a strong smell. A little goes a long way, so this tube lasts quite a while. Overall, it’s a reliable, high-quality cork grease that makes assembling and adjusting your clarinet effortless. I would definitely recommend it to any clarinet player, whether beginner or advanced.

Vandoren Clarinet Cork Grease has been around...well...just about forever, or at least since I started playing...NO, I won't say that! How dare anyone ask a lady her age! Vandoren cork grease has been the standard cork grease for a very long time, and for good reason. The grease works. Period. It allows for easy assembly of your clarinet without having to force joints together. A little goes a long way -- one tube will likely last you for months, if not at least a year, depending on how often you practice. It doesn't dry out the cork on your instrument. It's easy to use and because it's in a tube, you aren't likely to get your fingers greasy unless you want greasy fingers. The smell has even improved, though that could be a problem if younger players think that the cork grease is the same as lip gloss or lip balm. But as a product for your clarinet, it can't be beat. Every clarinet player needs cork grease and this is the classic grease that every clarinet player who began in the 70s and 80s used, and it's as good as ever. I highly recommend it!
