Color options are terrible....
I ordered the ZUZU LUXE Dual Powder Foundation and while I like the foundation, the colors are terrible. I ordered D-10 and it is ghost white on me, so I order the suggested color up, D-14, and I look like I have a terrible spray tan. I wish the company offered options between these colors. This foundation does oxidize, so give it some time to see the true color. The foundation provides medium coverage. It hardly settles into fine lines and when it does, you just pat/blend it with your finger and all is good. I wore it for 13 hours with no touchups. The best part is that it didn’t break me out, which most products do. I am in my late 30’s, Caucasian, with light skin. I have neutral to yellow undertones and I tan easily. I have oily skin and have suffered from cystic acne since getting shingles on my face in my 20’s. I am only giving this info to help others in deciding if this powder foundation is right for them before purchasing. Most reviews don’t mention the type/color of skin, which is important to know when purchasing a foundation. Overall, I would have given this product a better review if it had better color options. The makeup is not bad, the colors are terrible.

I keep coming back. It works! Buy this!
I’ve been using this powder foundation for 4 years now. I love it. It’s buttery soft, smooth, evens out my skin tone perfectly without EVER making my skin look dry or powdery and it blends seamlessly. You can still see your skin through it which I like while still providing the right amount of coverage. It evens your skin out nicely.I never use primer, I don’t have to moisturize and use serums before putting it on. It’s my go to for every day use. I wake up and pop it on and it looks perfect. It gives me a very natural even skin tone. I use a stippling type brush to put it on. I don’t like using the sponge it comes with.I can’t recommend this powder more. After years of use I keep coming back. It’s my absolute favorite product.

Great powder foundation with superior coverage, but be careful of crumbling!
Zuzu Luxe is the best powder foundation I've ever used. It feels good on my skin and provides great coverage for a powder. However, my experience with the refills hasn't been perfect. I just ordered a second one to replace the first one I got, which crumbled about one week after I received it. Now the same is happening with my new one, after having it just a few days. The one I replaced crumbled into lots of little pieces and fell right into my sink when I opened the compact. Thankfully, Amazon, in all its awesomeness, refunded the cost so I could purchase a replacement. Now I'm super careful when opening the compact, but the new one is beginning to crumble as well. I don't carry the compact with me; it just stays in a drawer all the time, so it doesn't get dropped or jostled. So I'm not sure what the issue is. The original powder that came with my compact was great - no issues with that one; only the refills. But since I love the powder for my skin so much, I'm still giving it four stars.

Great for makeup minimalists, that still like to look good
Background: I have oily skin, with a tendency to break out if my skin doesn’t like the way a particular product “looks at it”.Review positives: I wear minimal makeup on a daily basis, and this provides a light/medium coverage that doesn’t turn orange (most makeup inevitably turns orange on me, normally about 1-2 hours after makeup application). It is also great to use over liquid foundation when you’re going for full coverage staying power (I use Urban Decay Naked Skin liquid foundation). To date it’s also one of the only foundations/powders I’ve found that doesn’t break me out, even if I work out in it.Onto the negatives.... It does need reapplication if you’re into that sort of thing (I’m not unless I’m doing something after work or going out). Also, it does tend to cake on the bridge of my nose underneath where my glasses sit, but I don’t think a foundation product exists that won’t do that once combined with my oily skin. I mean, I keep buying it, so that’s saying something....

Great coverage. Doesn't leave your skin oily or dry
I would give this 6 stars if I could. Great coverage. Doesn't leave your skin oily or dry. Apply with a Kabuki brush or the applicator sponge (you don't get the sponge with the D4 refill, only with the compact). I've tried several vegan products (DeVita, Zuzu & Larenim are all high quality vegan brands) but this particular foundation by Zuzu is the outright winner. It feels so light on your skin, it's like you're not even wearing makeup. I tried to order the compact but it was sold out on Amazon. When I ordered the refill I was so impressed with the quality, I ended up ordering the D4 compact from Vegan Essentials. I have really fair/pale skin and this was the perfect shade. I really don't think you will be disappointed with this and it's cruelty free. I don't care how good a product is or may seem, if it's not cruelty-free, then I'll pass.
