Had a lug nut with a chrome cover that refused to come off. Stripped using an impact, rounded the nut off. Ordered these, once they arrived for be minutes later the damaged nut was off! Great Value !

good quality tools
this kit is a necessity for anyone working on older trucks.. We tend to work on diesels quite a bit and here in the Northeast everything seems to get rusty faster than you imagine. This kit has come in very handy a few times already. happy with quality.

Works on stripped hex heads
This is an excellent product. The bolt removal design works great on worn bolts. If you have an old car that you want to do regular work on this tool is invaluable.

I'm a little concerned with the hardness of the extractors metal and the sharpness of the teeth on them.

Saves my back all the time
I'm a mechanic and when I'm working on cars I'll encounter the dreadful rounded bolt from time to time and pounding on a socket takes ages and sometimes you can't fit vice grips on there but these are actually awesome.

Awesome set
I had an issue with removing a nut in a very tight spot on my car. Nut was rounded and hard to get out. Got this socket set today and went out to my car to remove the nut. I am so glad I bought it because it grabbed on to what was left of the nut and it came out with ease. Wish I knew about this set before I started the job of trying to remove the nut with a regular socket. Highly recommend having this in your tool box.
