I wasn't really sold on the digital picture frames until I observed them being used at my parents. My Mum has dementia and my Dad has set up a digital photo frame to scroll through photos and they are amazing as they prompt Mum's memory - So much easier than having to handle heavy photo albums or look on your phone - and you can have it running all the time (or not! it's up to you). Thought I'd give this one a go for the kids. No frames are particularly cheap unfortunately. At £66.99 this is more towards the top end of what I'd want to pay for an 8" frame. However, with the 15% voucher you can get this for £56.94 which seems better. This size is good for small rooms I think. The packaging is a little basic and the inner was cracked, but all the contents in order. It's a lightweight frame, simple design with a simple stand for horizontal use. There is a remote, which is cheap and cheerful but does the job. Big bug bear of mine though is the cable... it's short, so you have to extend or place near a socket. I loaded photos from my phone to a USB stick, inserted this into the frame and turned it on. The position of the USB port is a little fiddly if you have big fingers, but manageable. I was in a hurry and didn't read the instructions (which are basic but ok), and still managed to work out what to do by pressing a few buttons. Had it up and running in no time for the photos. Adjusting the time/date took a little more effort. I quite like the option for the photos to scroll next to a calendar. So far, so good. I've read the other reviews and see some having difficulties... Fingers crossed, all is well for me and mine! The picture is ok and am satisfied for the purpose I'm using it for. If I wanted a frame for the living room, I think I would pay more and get a much bigger and better quality one; but this seems good if you want something that doesn't take up room and on a budget.

great : what an image quality !!!not so great: low volume continous static noise in the speaker and the remote is problematic: press too fast on the down button at will start going up, press on fast fwd repeatedly and it will stop responding. But everything is less important compared with the amazing screen quality

I always wanted a digital photo frame as most of my photos are in my phone or on the pc. We don’t get to relive those memories and its horrible when everything get forgotten. So I bought this one, after a lot of research and amazingly I love it. Easy to set and play!.... I’m really impressed with the image quality and has a sturdy build quality. Colours are sharp, transitions are very smooth and resolution is fantastic. Comes in a nice box and has a remote control too. Definitely recommend this and I’m considering buying a second one as well for my other lounge. It keeps you alive and the memories do not fade. I would recommend this product to anyone.

Works really well and was used to play HUD videos on a home made star wars inspired control panel.

It was wonderfully presented in a box that seemed to promise so much. I bought this only for photographs and not video or audio files. I bought this to replace a Philips photo frame that cost more than twice the cost of this one and that was about 12 years ago but it threw-in the towel after a recent power cut. The advert on Amazon said it could be wall-mounted - not so. Only the 15 & 17 inch models have that fitment available. It is very bright - I toned it down a bit but the colours were a bit washed-out and not as vivid either as I remember or as appear on my computer. There is a 'support rod' that props the frame up to view. This is really only OK if you are up close, say working on a desk. In my case it sits across the room on my sideboard and projects above where I am sat. It comes with a 'User Manual' in the box. Well, that's not what I would call it. If you wondered what the thing in the box with all the buttons on was then this 'User Guide' has a photograph and tells you it's a 'Remote Control'. And? And nothing - no explanation of the controls or the like. Seven buttons remain a mystery to me but that may be because they refer to video or audio files. If you want to know the words for some words like 'Foreword', 'Appearance', and 'Installation' in half a dozen European Languages then this is what the 'User Manual' is good for. There are a couple of instances where the system set-up programming is inconsistent. After selecting a particular feature, you are supposed to press the 'OK' button once you have scrolled to the setting you like. But, even though it's not marked, on some features pressing the presumed 'OK' button, the setting advances to the next option and does not register the 'selected'. Nearly a page is given to explaining the 'Motion Sensor. This comes as a surprise as there was (a) no mention of it on the Amazon advertisement, and (b) no mention of it under the heading of 'Feature' or 'Appearance' where the physical attributes are shown. I think the manual is a victim of over-enthusiastic 'cutting and pasting'. Final thought? OK, but nothing special. I would award it two and a half stars but cannot.

I’m really impressed with the image quality on this digital picture frame. Its very easy to use and has a sturdy build quality. This is a major upgrade from my last digital frame. Colours are better, transitions are very smooth and resolution is very sharp. Plays videos and music as well as displaying photos! Comes in a nice box and has a remote control too. Definitely recommend this and I’m considering buying the 10” version to have a second one.

Es el segundo marco digital que uso ambos de diferentes marcas.Este supera con creces al anterior.Lo que me gusta es menos marco, mas brillo, lee mas formatos de audio vídeo, ademas lo puedes programar para que encienda u apague todos los días a unas mismas horas.Lo que no me gusta es que carece de memoria interna así que deberás tener una tarjeta sd o usb para los archivos.

He intentado contactar con el vendedor pero me ha sido imposible porque tiene un FALLAZO importante.Nosotros lo queríamos para una persona mayor, para meterle todos sus viajes y que los fuese pasando.El marco tiene una calidad aceptable, un tamaño perfecto y el sonido es un poco mierder pero bueno, para oir 4 tonterías vale.Vamos al tema, el fallazo: no reproduce por orden todas las fotografías. Ordena las fotografias por nombre entonces, hemos tenido que renombrar más de 4 mil fotografías y cuando haya que añadir más pues tocara hacer la operación oportuna.Una lástima, lo veo un fallo gordo, no lo podemos devolver porque lo compramos con tiempo para el cumple de esta persona y ya no da la opción.
