Nothing will deter a determined mole! The only way to get rid of them is by using a trap! I have tried all the humane ways advised but it seems to encourage them to dig more holes. The next step for me will be the mole traps.

I’m using the pellets in conjunction with noise emitters. I still have evidence of mole activity but it seems to be reducing. But I’m not convinced …yet.

I have had a persistent mole problem this year and have tried various products and traps. These granules do however appear to have worked!!!. I have sprinkled them in the runs and along the apparent runs and since doing this about a month ago I have only had one new mole hill appear (compared to about 3 per day) . Hopefully these will deter them in the long term

Firstly I tried those sonic things that are supposed to encourage moles to pack up their belongings and move out of the neighborhood as they were not supposed to be able to put up ewith the noise. That method never seemed to deter moles.Then I came across Sork mole bulbs and used them for a couple of years and found that they helped a bit. Now they are off the market (due to Brexit??) so I then tried Defenders Mole granules. After buying 3 lots of 2.5kg bottles very little has changed in my ongoing battle to persuade my resident mole to go and play with all his mates in the field next to my lawn. This he always seemed reluctant to do. He / she would frequently re-buiId his/her hill in the exact same spot as the previous one despite my sprinkling granules over a fairly wide area.In the end I decided to give Karsten a go Tuesday, this week, after the mole had seemingly been away for two weeks holdiday, he / she returned to the spot it had called home for a month or so before. I removed the latest molehill and sprinkled Karsten granules around an area of about 25 square feet. Yesterday the molehill was there again in exactly the same spot. Repeat spreading after removing the hill. Today a new hill appeared about 10 feet from his previous lodging. I have almost used up my first buy of Karsten now. I will now have to purchase another.I wonder whether any of these products really do work, as long as gardeners fork out for tubs of mole deterrent the companies that sell them will remain happy.. There seems to be regular university investigations into any number of products but why have they never thought to see if these mole deterrents are up to the job?And perhaps Amazon could explain, as a previous reviewer has stated, why the price increases from your first purchase to your second, in my case ip £2.75 after just 18 days.
