beautiful wood
The grain is beautiful. Its solid wood. The polishing on the sides could be better. As with any wooden item in the kitchen, it requires regular drying and oiling to prevent water damage.

The wood is just perfect , no dents or holes. I used this wood to build a stand for my DOOA terra 30 ( a live terrarium By japanese brand dooa/ADA). This teak wood board is soo perfect and lively that we can still smell the perfect teak wood smell

3 years and going strong
Writing this review after more than 3 years of daily use. The quality is amazing and the size is just perfect for a family of 4-6. It is single teak wood piece. The finishing is good and it is easy to handle. Would recommend this product, although it is a bit costly. I initially bought it for 1200.

Updated review:This is a great product. The fungal issues that I had observed was resolved once I started regularly oiling the surface of the wooden block. This has also been mentioned under product care by the seller.I have thus updated the review to 5 stars.Overall, this product is true to its description and I more than satisfied.My sincere apologies to the seller for a giving a negative rating earlier. I will try and let my friends/relatives know that they should try this product.Thanks------------First impressions are great. Heavy, looks great and made out of a single block of wood/trunk.However, to my dismay, found tremendous amount of microbial growth (white fungal) on it during the monsoon season. This is despite keeping it in a dry place and ensuring it was dry. This sort of fungal growth can only be seen on cheap wood, processed wood or wood that has not been treated/cured correctly.The only time i have ever seen such fungal growth is on Pepperfry furniture (made out of MDF). Never seen this sort of growth on any other furniture or proper wooden items in my household.
