Looks like mine wasn't finished from the factory the brass pices where over sized looked like they where not sanded down to line up flush with the wood body. this made reading angles inaccurate. I have since put this to the belt sander and removed the excess so all is well now. The quality isn't great but for the price I didnt expect much. Works now and happy. will probably make my own out of some nicer wood in the future and use the hardware off this.

An adjustable square is such a flexible item that is simple in its construction and use. It just requires the ingenuity of the user to get the full benefit of its uses!

Dimple, easy to use. Just the job.

Fit for purpose but not the highest quality. Works fine but doesn't have a nice feel to it that you expect when using hand tools. You can see wher corners have been cut.

The thin brass squares are glued on, but they dont line up with the edges of the wooden handle. I will be returning the item. Poor quality.

Very good tool, can't complain.
