CTW Home Collection Punched Star Lamp Shade in Crackle Black, Clips on Light Bulb, 2" x 6" x 4", Red

Ordered this shade for a small lamp that I have. When I opened the box I was pleased with the look and sturdiness; however, I ordered it based on the description of it being black. Lamp shade was a primitive red color. It's very cute but wasn't a fan of the color. I hate returning orders so I spray painted it matte black and it loos great 👍

This product is made for a tiny lamp with tiny lightbulbs. Tiny like super small and it won’t work on the average size lightbulbs. Plus it’s clearly red yet advertised as black. This is red and I don’t like red. If I had known either of those things I would not have bought it with the frustration of now having to return it.

Received this next day so shipping was lightning fast. It's the perfect size for my tiny lamp & it's sturdy. Punch pattern is lovely. Color is much more red than black so I will have to paint it (which I can certainly deal with) however, more frustratingly, clip is painted closed. Clip is completely covered in paint & shellac. It will be a real challenge getting this clip apart.I would have given five stars if not for the clips being painted closed. Expecting to take it out of the box & put it right on isn't too much to ask.

These lamp shades were a perfect fit for a new Early American-style chandelier I bought for my wife. They're substantial tin - not flimsy, and they slide right down on the torpedo bulbs in the sockets. Before I bought these, our chandelier was without shades on the low-wattage bulbs, but even at low wattage there was a lot of glare that was distracting. These add a neat touch to an already nice chandelier, and on-top of that they block-out most of the glare the torpedo bulbs emitted. I'm not sure why Amazon describes my purchase as "Crackle Black", because my shades are a reddish-brown color.

as other say, these are a lot smaller than I thought. like, nightlight small. They fit great for the fireplace where I wanted to put them, but they are so short that you can see the bulb no matter what. Wouldn't recommend using for anything that doesn't have a candelabra base.

I have an old, small lamp that is a lighthouse. This is the perfect shade for it. Good quality and I love the light through the cut-outs. More redish than black. Nice color.
