BEST PERSONAL WINDMILL IN THE WORLD
This Wind Turbine is absolutely amazing! It's on my windowsill for the sunlight...and it just won't stop spinning! Assembly is ridiculously easy, and it has 4 solar panels to obtain sunlight from any angle. It's an awesome addition to the Christmas Village I'm building. Looks and performs just like the real ones on I-8. I love this product so much...I bought 2 more this morning!

Does what it says, but only in the strictest sense
6/28/21 UPDATE - So I was getting very frustrated with the lack of any type of performance from the windmill. The "blade" mechanism has a small metal bearing that helps keep everything spinning and in place. A little WD-40 on that bearing, and this bad boy SPINS! Even in indirect sun through a tinted window, I'm getting roughly 1 RPS, and in direct sunlight sometimes I worry it'll fly off of my desk! Knowing what I know now, I would buy again. OLD REVIEW - It's incredibly cheap, and there's not much at all to put together so it's easy to assemble. And yes, it spins when receiving solar energy, but it really only works well outside. Any type of indoor tinted window severely hinders its performance to the point of barely twitching. And after only 1 day there's a very noticeable squeak. I'm sure a little WD-40 can fix it, but it's annoying to have to use that so early. And it stores no energy, there's no battery, so you can't turn it off to "charge" it. It's on and sunny or nothing. Cute but meh.

Only works with a really bright flashlight
It only worked if I used a very bright flashlight and shridened it right at one of the solar panels from about 3 in away. I have UV lights for plants that I was hoping this would work with and it didn't so I put it in Windows and that didn't help either. I live in Texas and I used a south-facing window in clear 80° weather. It did not work once.

It doesn't operate very smoothly, sounds like gears crunching inside. Locks up, goes backward, ugh.
Sounds like the gears inside aren't meshing right. It doesn't operate well on a cloudy day, it will rotate slow, lock up, try going backwards, lock again, go forward, makes noise from the base.

Needs lots of light either natural or electric

not working after a while
This solar-powered windmill model worked well for the first two or three weeks, but then it stopped functioning. I suspect the issue is that the pieces are not properly aligned. It also made a slight clicking noise while it was working.

It solar and actually works !
This was a joke on my grandson. When he was little he said he wand a fan just like the ones off the highway. So I got him this one. He loves it, keeps it on his window sill and turns it on. He was so excited when it worked just like the bigger ones. So cool
