Good Trout lure
Have used it for 3 weeks (each Saturday) and it produces good bites in the bay

This is by far the fest alternative to live bait! Live shrimp was my bait of choice in TX. However, after moving VA I was forced to switch to gulp because they don't sell live shrimp... caught flounder, red fish, croakers and more.

Drives fish crazy
Material is way to soft and small fish easly bite the tail off.

If Gulp won't put specks in the boat nothing will!
For South Louisiana speckled trout the 3" nuclear chicken shrimp have saved me from a complete strike out. Live shrimp or pogie minnows are always my 1st choice of bait but if the specks aren't interested in them I whip the nuclear chickens on a jighead under a popping cork. My fishing buddy does the same with a chartreuse 3" double tail. 7 out of 10 the shrimp will start catching 1st. If doesn't that bright yellow double will. I have tried every gulp bait style with a dizzying array of colors but I always go back to those two. Don't bother with a discount brand mimicking the same product for cheap it just won't work the same. Not all gulp baits work in the same in different areas but don't give up if your 1st style and flavor don't work. I started using them 3 years ago and have gone through tons of combo's, but if you keep at it I guarantee you'll find a couple that will put fish in the boat when nothing else will.
