Some of the comments are unfavorable, i.e., looks cheap!  Want to give as wedding present.  Bad idea????

My name is Lars and I live in Oslo. I bought the clock some years ago. It could also be bought with gold finish, but then I had to wait so I bought the standard version which might be considered to look cheap by some people. However, the 4 stones which are rotating look luxuries and are quit heavy. For the first year everything worked fine. The clock is still working excellently, but I got problem with the rotating stones which stopped even after having installed new batteries. I wondered if the batteries was fully charged when I bought them, because with the original batteries everything  worked fine. I have considered to buy rechargeable batteries. So for a long time it has been only the clock which work. Yesterday I had a new trial and to my surprise everything has worked fine since then. It might also have something to do with the temperature in my apartment, which is about 23 Celsius now.
It might be considered looking cheap compared to the classical anniversary clocks, which was purely mechanical. However they had quit considerable deviation. I think they used a deviation table. A metal feather was drawn ones a year. I have learned some nonlinear algebra so I think I understand how this table was made. My father was a sailor so he bought one for Christmas, but I think it should be drawn at new year eve.
I would go for gold if it can be bought, but in all cases it does not look cheap but modern.
Here in Norway they are not sold, so it could be difficult to find someone that would repair them. I am not an expert so you should perhaps have a talk with a professional.
I was great fun trying to help you. I is only to AA batteries which one is for the clock and one is for the rotating glass stones.
The Bulova name have luxurious touch to me, perhaps because of the romantic movies made in the 1960ties.

It was a gift, so I don't have the clock.  I am pretty sure it is about 12" in height.  Quite small but very pretty.

They look like glass but i am not 100% sure and they could be a high quality plastic.   You may want to ask the manufacturer.
