Does this deter bats effectively? It claims it does, but has anyone had success specifically with bats?

Accepted Answer

Yes, they really do work for bats. Can't say about anything else they might claim to repel. We live in a Mexican desert location where much of the year the house is open to the outside. If we forget to turn them on in the evening then by morning the place is full of bat fecal material. When they are on that doesn't happen.

Question 2

want this for my large garage to get rid of the rat and mice. Rats  been making nests in vehicle. will it run off my cats?  I want to keep cats in it

Sorry to say that I bought this thing for bats only.  It didn't work.  However, I can tell you that the setting for rodents is very loud and annoying.  I could barely stand it; your cats would go crazy.  I would not recommend it.  I do know that mice hate peppermint oil (concentrated extract). Maybe rats hate it too.  You could put some on cotton balls and put it in the car.  It smells nice, but they hate it.

Question 3

Would this work for cockroaces and bedbugs in an appartment? Will it work with the whole appartment if i keep the doors opened?

I used it during a demolition i was doing on my house and it was infested with all kinds of pests, critters, insects/bugs!! It worked greatly. I did use traps along side of it(to keep somewhat clean); and sprays here and there. I'm really OCD when it comes to there's matters.... But I was overall satisfied with the results. This lasted for about 6 months for sure in progress and a year to be sure

In AZ they are used outdoors to repel bats. I have mine under porch covers. They work great!
