Scholastic Eerie Elementary, Books 1-4: A Branches Box Set

Got these for my son, age 7, during his first grade year. He plowed through them and asked to read the rest of the series. He thought the stories were funny and entertaining, and just the right amount of spooky for his age. This series is a good precursor to Goosebumps, perfect for ages 6-8.

My 8-year-old boy loves, loves, loves these books. He will devoure one book in a sitting or at bed time reading in bed. He stays up past bedtime, thinking he's tricking me that he's asleep to read these page turner books.They have a black and white picture on every page. I would say grade 2 reading level.Thanks for writing books that children are eager and keen to read. There's just enough excitement and suspense to keep them coming back for more, and without any middle of the night wakings from being scared.Two thumbs up from this book worm 📚 🐛

I have been looking for a series to get my son reading more and my 7 yo loved all these books! He read a book a day because he was so hooked! Definitely recommend!!

Grandson was able to read the first book so far. Great it was also on his summer reading list. Fun book!
