Are these made of clay? One of the reviews said they were plastic. Please clarify. Thanks.

I do not know if they are made of clay. the ones I wear feel like some of kind of plastic.. I have had the insoles for a while and like the way they feel on my feet. Bev

I've bought more than a dozen. they are great. They never had a smell. I would return them and get another pair or leave them in the sun for awhille

Are these insoles very rigid, like pebbles? Or kind of soft and squishy?

The massage pieces are rigid, but the whole insole is a little too soft.
