I left a print going overnight that did not end well. I had to replace the whole hot end and this kit worked great. Wasn't hard to remove and rewire the new kit. Print quality after the repair was great.

great easy fix to fix hotend

I Only needed the shroud,but shortly after the install my hot end thermister malfunctioned ( Ido not know if I can save the microswiss hot end or not, unable to remove heater) so I installed the rest of the unit. I am getting great printing results with this unit untill I decide my next move.

I got sick of breaking the fan blades(with a tool) inside of my ender 3 pro hot end assembly so I wanted this assembly, but it didn’t fit with the stock parts. BUT I ended up getting it to work by purchasing the right add ons.For this to work on your Ender 3 Pro you’ll need the following parts:-X axis belt for the Ender 3 V2-3D printer back support plate for Ender 3 V2-ideally a synchronous belt tensioner to replace the current one-this product.If you get these items you’ll be able to use this on your Ender 3 Pro. And it may cost about $25 more, but that’s cheaper than constantly replacing fans, and it looks much nicer.

After a giant gob of FDM attacked my hot-end, it was never the same. I'm still not sure how many things had gone wrong, and I was running out of patience in tracking down each individual problem. I just couldn't get a quality print.Replacing this took me about 40 minutes while I was also doing other things, would have been faster if I was focused. You'll need a few cable ties to clean everything back up, and you should take a picture of where the existing wires are before you start removing things, or look at the one on this review. The two red wires from the heating cartridge, the blue/yellow and dual white molex connectors, and the black/red pair at the bottom all come from the sheath and need to be put in place.After doing that, it was a quick bed level and the printer's working again. I'm printing PLA at 215 that I was printing at 205 earlier, but I'm not sure if that's a difference in the calibration of the thermistor (so it's actually not a temperature change) or if it's just that the batch is older.Really tempted to just buy another one of these to have handy. I'm sure I could assemble the parts cheaper, if you don't value my time, but it's nice to know it works.

It was an exact replacement. It works perfect. The packing it came in is very sturdy and it is a great value for everything it came with.

It looks like maybe they tightented the fan mounting screws too tight at the factory. 3 of the fan mounting screws pulled out of the plastic body within 2 weeks of having the thing, making it make this horrible noise that made me uninstall it to check it out. I replaced with longer screws, now the fan has this horrible death rattle like a bearing is going out. Overall, pretty unhappy with how this went.

This is the real deal with a "Creality" logo and all so it's a direct replacement.Too bad I had to purchase all this just to replace the shroud which had been tightened so much it fractured the stand-offs and broke away just from the vibration from printing.Always nice to have spare parts on hand so not too much of a problem.

Bought for my Ender 3 v2, works like a charm.
