NOT a cooking book- otherwise my Brain Bible Book!
I don't understand how people write in their reviews that this is a cooking book. This book tells us how to avoid damaging to the body/brain stuff, for example (air freshers, skin care, laundry softner etc), and what are the most potent foods for your body/brain, both short and long term. I love the approach in this book as well, science explained, studies results reported, in a good balance with the rest of less scientific stuff. Yes, food is a huge part of staying healthy, so naturally the author suggests all the healthy food. This book has become my brain bible book, and I love it so much I wrote to the writer asking if it's available in a language my mother can read. If you're interested in how to reduce all toxins entering your body, and equally interested in how to eat better, I highly recommend this book.

Dr. Michelle Schoffro Cook writes unique health books full of helpful information that is hard to find anywhere else. Her new book, Boost Your Brain power in 60 Seconds, The 4-Week Plan for a Sharper Mind, Better Memory, and Healthier Brain, is another gem to be treasured. With clarity and simplicity, Dr. Cook shows us the way to a better brain. This 4-week plan is easy and can be customized. The book is divided into three parts. In Part I, she writes about brain diseases, gives important dietary advice for brain health and includes a brain health assessment to give you an idea of your current brain health. In Part II, she introduces her 60-Second Brain Health Tips which are a critical component of the program and surprisingly easy to follow. In Part III, she offers about 50 brain-boosting recipes such as Pineapple-Basil Rice, Warm Black Bean Salad, Lentil Burgers, Dairy-Free Pasta Alfredo with Asparagus, and Strawberry-Blueberry Pudding. I have tried all of these and can say that they are very easy to make, wholesome, and delicious.This is a research-based program Dr .Cook developed over 22 years ago after being involved in a terrible car accident. She suffered a brain and spinal cord injury. Later, as her health improved as a result of the program, she worked with thousands of patients, including many with brain disorders such as Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, dementia, clinical depression, traumatic brain injury, autism, and others; but you don't have to suffer from a brain disease to benefit from this program -- this program empowers you to prevent brain disease.Having followed the natural path to health for years, I have already reaped many benefits, but Boost Your Brain Power in 60 Seconds goes beyond anything I have done so far because it deals comprehensively with the body's master-controller. After just three weeks of following Dr. Cook's advice, I am sleeping better and I seem to have more energy. I am making this book my brain care manual.

This book was a fantastic read. I am already following a healthy eating plan but it gave great tips on how to tweek things to get even more benefit from my food as well as how certain things benefit different areas of the body and brain.

Great book!
This book is amazing. It contains all kinds of great information and I can't recommend it highly enough. Michelle Schoffro Cook has once again delivered as promised.
