Ease of use and comfort as well as battery life
So far I gotta give these 5 stars the sound is amazing and they do not fall out like airpods which is exactly how I would end up loosing them. I like how you can adjust the equalizer on the soundcore app to your liking, the wireless charging for the case is an amazing feature on budget ear buds. It was very easy to set up and pick the correct wing size for better comfort. The design of these is amazing at first I found them to be a bit bulky but you end up getting used to it. Amazing now I gotta see if they last tho but so far they’re syncing perfectly.

Best sounding and Best Value earbuds
These have been the best earbuds I've come across so far. I do not know why the ear wings aren't on all earbuds, they are so comfortable and clearly keep them from falling out of your ear, which is my biggest nuisance with a lot of them, as you start to feel it sliding out. These fit perfect, can't fall out. Now onto the sound.....the bass on these are so gooood! The overall sound quality for these earbuds are amazing. When I use these I don't feel I am missing out in comparison to over the head headphones. I use these with my Ipod Nano and sometimes through my phone, been perfect to pair it up and sounds great with both. Being able to wirelessly charge them is also really cool. The case is great. Literally zero complaints while I've had these so far for a couple of years. I had some Jabra's before and it was lacking a lot with bass, was blown away by how much punch these had. I was worried it would either be only a little extra or maybe some kind of distorted bass, but it is super crisp and punchy. If looking for some great sounding earbuds, that is super affordable on top of it....I don't see how anyone would be disappointed with these.

Purchased in 2021, solid earbuds with some issues...
First, please know that I purchased these earbuds in May of 2021. They are now over 4 years old and still working fine for my needs. Here's how I felt using these earbuds roughly 3-4 times a week for hours per occurrence. Pros - Doesn't break the bank but isnt as cheap as those 20 dollar no name ones you can get on Amazon that change their name but remain the same product. - Sound quality is good, not great. Bass is there but not to a point where I was impressed. I would say overall they sounded passable for music. For podcasts, which I listened to mostly with these, is fantastic. Voices are crisp and cut through any background noise. - Noise cancellation, don't really notice it, not sure if it doesn't even have it or I just haven't turned it on. - Battery life was great for the first few years, as of now 4 + years in, a single charge of the carrying case and buds inside will get me about 20 hours of podcasts at a loud volume. Cons - the rubber ear tips. Not the ones that go into your ear canal and cover the speaker, I'm referring to the ones that sit on top of the earbud and assist with keeping the earbud in place. They are an AMAZING addition. I mean, I could play pick up basketball games with these in and they'd be rock solid the entire time. The bad part comes into the picture now, a few years later. They've stretched out to a point they don't function like they should and the buds fall out easily. I went to purchase a replacement and Anker is sold out for the past month. It's a damn shame I'll have to replace a perfectly good part of earbuds because Anker doesn't support their products properly post sale. Tldr: Good earbuds for podcast and some music, company support for replacement parts sucks.

Excellent Value for the Price
I bought these to replace my Bose Sport earbuds. While I wanted something that would give me great audio, I didn't want to spend what I paid for those previous earbuds; these Soundcore Life A1do not disappoint, in fact, they are exceeding my expectations. Bluetooth Pairing: Open the case, go to bluetooth settings on the device and select the Life A1 buds. Done. Literally took me less than 15 seconds. Once my devices were paired, as soon as I take a bud out of its case it's already connecting to the last device I used, and by the time I have it popped in my ear, it's ready to go. Comfort and Fit: These buds come with several sizes of plugs, and three sizes of wings. After a little trial and error to get the right fit for my ears, these are so comfortable, I forget I have them in after a while. They are lightweight, they don't pinch anywhere, and I can easily wear these for an entire day at my desk without any discomfort whatsoever. Controls: Like many earbuds these days, you can control several common functions by pressing the earbuds (play/pause, volume up/down, answer/reject calls, Siri, etc.). One thing that surprised me is that these are actual buttons, and not just a touch-control like some other buds have. Build Quality and Design: Both the case and the earbuds are light, but at the same time, feel like they are made to last. Nothing feels "cheap" or "flimsy". The case has a solid magnetic closure design, there is no play in the hinges of the case lid. The buds themselves are riding that fine line between lightweight and feeling substantial enough to feel like a quality earbud. Battery Life and Charging: I can easily go all day long with these buds. I used them continuously for 9 hours on one single charge. The case and the buds themselves charge quickly. And as an added bonus, not only can you charge the case via the USB-C charging port, you can also use a wireless charger. The App: There is a Soundcore app you can download that offers some additional options. It allows you to customize the button controls although your only options of functions to assign to button presses are volume, play/pause, next/previous, Siri, or no action. The app also offers equalizer settings, but you are limited to their 21 presets; 20 equalizer configuration presets and a "Soundcore Signature BassUp". While these presets will most definitely do the trick, I was slightly disappointed there was no option for a custom EQ preset the user can make on their own. Overall, I am incredibly impressed by the value, less than $40 for all of this? And to be honest, these sound at least as good as my previous Bose earbuds.

Best earbuds ever!
I love these earbuds! They fit in my ears really well, they're lightweight, and they actually stay in place. The noise cancellation is amazing. They literally drown out everything else. The sound quality is great, too—nice and sharp. There's different equalizer modes based on the type of music you're listening to, as well, and you can even set the touch controls exactly the way you want them. Definitely worth the price!

So it’s taken me a while to write this review (despite the numerous prompts from Amazon) and this is mainly because I’ve gone through so many wireless headphones I really wanted to be SURE before writing this review . So here goes… Reason for purchase: Gym, and mainly running on the thread mill. Value for money: Good - considering build quality and lack of issues (to be specific I’ve had NONE thus far) , overall sound quality and reason for purchase - I’d say this was a sound investment, and cost effective. Durability: Really good. In your ears they’re light enough not to cause a nuisance, but heavy enough to know that if one (did) fall out your ear, you’d know about it. Battery life: I’m usually at the gym for about 1.5 hours, I think my longest run at the gym was 2hrs before I got the first prompt of “battery low”. (And that’s at playing music at a relatively high volume (I’d say typically at 85-90%) Some people may think 1.5-2hrs is not enough, but I only purchased these for gym use and not for phone calls, or long journeys outside; so as a result, it IS fit for purpose, and does me just fine. I usually keep them in the car and charge when not in use. I believe they auto switch off once fully charged. So far these wireless headphones have been durable, work all the time (I’ve had no issues with one side working and the other not), the case they charge in is fine - (be sure to see both charging lights light up before tucking away) and leaving to charge. The size adaptors fitted perfectly, I think they offer a couple of extra sizes in there if needed but I used the ones that were fitted on upon box opening and I’ve not felt the need to change them. Noise cancelling: I’m happy with the lack of outside noise, in fact I’d say I don’t notice any noise at all when at the gym and have them on. I’m often surprised when taking them out to talk to a (gym bro) about how loud the gym actually is, you literally zone out and only hear what you’re playing. Charging case: durable, does what it needs to do. Unfortunately there’s no written LED indicator determining what percentage of charge each earbud has, but there are a few LED lights on the charger that light up in 25% increments so you can have a good gage as to how much power is in them (both). Phone calls: I’ve only had a few phone calls and to be honest I had no issues, they were of course short (as I was at the gym) but the call was clear and the caller could hear me just fine. Button control: I know some of the fancier ones have touch controls which require a swipe or light tap to perform certain functions such as raising volume or answering calls. In truth I’ve owned a few like that and they are a nightmare (imo), they often skip unannounced, or are an even worse nightmare if you’re wearing a hood or cap, both of which can trigger a function command. I’ve also noted that sweat can also often affect touch control earbuds too - which has been extremely annoying when running. I say all of that to say this - with these the function changes require an actual click and physical push of the buttons on the earbuds, which I welcome as every action is therefore intentional and keeps things rudimentary but also simple - thereby allowing me to continue with my workout without the constant need rewind a track that has skipped inadvertently or having to re-raise the volume as it started reducing for no apparent reason. Obviously all controls can also be done directly via your phone as well. All in all - for the price paid, these are a worthwhile and sturdy investment. I don’t need the headphones to make or receive calls, but if necessary they have worked fine for short calls (which to all intense and purpose have taken place in a busy and noisy gym) Summary: Functional, fit for purpose for serious gym goers’ who don’t have time to keep stopping and starting because of fiddly touch earbuds. When having to work a 9-5 and fit gym sessions in the evening, then having to go back to your family, you learn quickly that EVERY MINUTE counts! AND YES - I’m sure there are higher priced “branded” earbuds which could provide the same “pro’s” however they likely will cost 3-4x more than these, and I’m guessing the reason we’re all on Amazon is bc we are trying to find good value for money without having to go “top-end”, and it is for this reason I have taken the time to wait and comprehensively USE the item before writing this review. Hope it works for you as it has for me! Happy shopping!

Gracias.

I’ve had these headphones for over 6 months now and they still perform as if they were brand new. The battery life on these are insane! I use these nearly everyday, and I only need to charge the case overnight about once every two weeks. They offer a huge amount of bass and volume, they fit in my ears perfectly, and they never fall out of my ears or get loose with the standard fit. There is no active noise cancellation, but that isn’t expected for earbuds at this price. The seal does a good enough job for me. My only small complaint for these headphones are the sound profiles. You can triple-click an earbud to change it’s sound profile, but there is no indicator to know which profile you switch to. Other than that, these are hands down the best wireless earbuds at this price. Great job Anker!! Edit - Almost 1 year later (about 11 months) the left earbud completely died out of nowhere. I was listening to music when I noticed the left earbud lost volume completely. I thought it may have died so I charged it, didn’t work. I tried resetting the earbuds based on the manual, also didn’t work. Then I found on youtube that the left earbud suddenly not working is a common issue in Anker’s Soundcore earbud lineup. I hope to get this fixed through customer support! Edit #2: Anker sent me another pair in about a week free of charge, since these earbuds have an 18 month warranty. The new earbuds work perfectly. Amazing customer support thank you Anker :)
