Logical Chess : Move By Move: Every Move Explained

Great book for an average player like me
Every game makes me better at the moves. You might not learn new tricks in every game, there is a lot of repetition. But I guess that's the trick to get better at something, keep doing the same thing over and over again. I have loved the book so far

Has Learning Opening Theory Fried Your Brain? Learn Some Tactics Instead!
If you've been bitten by the chess bug, you've probably ordered a bunch of cryptic and dry opening theory books. What comes next? You try out your new opening moves and have your middle game fall apart like a $3 charging cable. Having fun on your rapid rating plateau of 400?Learn some tactics and manouvres instead! The author (as the title promises) analyses grandmaster games MOVE BY MOVE, with explanations which both elucidate the logical rational, and excite the reader!Expect florid language, maxims of ancient chess wisdom, and quotes from the masters themselves in their own words. The author clearly had a passion for chess of which there can be no doubt when you read it for yourself! Here's what you do:1) Learn a few basic openings from other books, or youtube, etc...2) Download a PGN reader app (I use "Analyze This Pro", $5 in the google play store), and download a PGN for this book. The PGN lets you follow along visually as you hit "next", move by move.3) Read and enjoy this book as you learn which midgame moves are good, and which ones are bad, respectively. If you've fewer than 500 games under your belt and stuck in the 400-500 ELO range, this book will give you a little shot of pep. Picture the smile on your face and feel the quickening of your pulse each time you trick/coerce your opponent into dismantling the perimeter of pawns protecting their king.If improving your game feels like dull drudgery rather than epic excitement or a fantastic fight, you are reading the wrong books! It's not expensive either. You know what to do.
