Switchcraft solid, well made, great jack. Plating was crisp, no burrs. Excellent product.Note: This is not as frequently used in guitars which often use stereo jacks.

Barrel jacks suck, but Switchcraft is the best of this design. If Switchcraft doesn't offer it, Neutrik typically does. If it's not one of those, keep shopping.

I personally do not like these types of jacks because they are cheap and they wear out after a year of using. I replaced a guitar that came stock with a MIJ type with a switchcraft and it failed me at a gig and I had to use a back up. I did just buy another for it a few days ago because I have no choice but to use this type without modifying my guitar. I play professionally and use it as my main guitar so it needed to be done.

I have nothing against this item but if it’s for a tele style guitar, this gets screwed in directly to the wood of the guitar. My stock G&L had string around the barrel input jack to more help it adhere to the hole of the guitar. If I did it again I might use a thin web of cotton around the barrel to more help it stay put once screwed inside the guitar.

works as intended. replaced a jack on a bass guitar that i have and now the hum that was there previously is gone. warning - it is a bit long, but luckily i could manage in my bass to fit it. that might not be the case for all, so make sure you measure before you order.

I bought this particular jack because of the Swithchcraft name. Other than the stamped logo, it's no different from any other similar barrel jack.
