The sundial itself was a little over-shadowed (no pun intended ;P) by the rest of the watch. The spire needs to cast a better shadow on the face of the dial, so that it can be more practically read. The compass is too shoddy (inaccurate and fickle) for my liking; it needs a better magnet. Yet, the band and clasp is solid.

I liked the detail and antique look of the watch but ...
I liked the detail and antique look of the watch but it was really hard to read the time and the compass inside didn't work at all. The leather for the wrist band was fine but the buckle was very weak and broke during transport. Nice collection piece but not functional.
