In theory, this would be an amazing bed frame if the bars stayed in place!!! The horizontal bars do NOT want to stay in the slots and keep coming out when we sit on the edges or climb out of it! While putting it together my husband realized that they’re too short and won’t stay in place.It’s a complete waste of money since this has made using the bed frame dangerous and absolutely useless!!! Do yourself a favor and buy something else!!!

The package arrived a day earlier than announced.Time frame:Got home at 3:00pm, dragged bed inside, unpacked, laid out parts6:00pm bed ready to crawl intoBed-builder: female, age 67, 110 lbsBetween 3:00 and 6:00 I built the bed, interrupted by 2 cups of coffee,cooking dinner, and watching 2 episodes of "Humans". (Amazon Prime)Nothing was broken, nothing was bent, all hardware was present.Problems: the rubber plugs that tighten the slats to the frame are unequal in thickness and "stuffing them into the slots" made me sweat. A few well-placed words and a screwdriver to wedge the plugs into place took care of that problem.Instructions: I had all parts laid out ahead of time, so I had no problems at all.Suggestions: tighten the screws a bit more than hand-tight. The instructions indicate not to tighten them down, but don't leave them too loose either. When you tighten the "S" screws on the footboard, tighten them down fully right away. They are very hard to access when the bed is fully constructed.I wish: the slats would be a little lower so the matress sits a bit deeper into the frame.All in all I am happy with my purchase.

The metal slats are not long enough across to stay in. There only little slits in the ends of each horizontal rod to hold them in each end and they constantly fall out of the main vertical rods if you shift your mattress. I have had to purchase a board to lay across the bed to lay the mattress on so that it doesn't sink. It is an annoyance.

So I bought this bed for my teenage son. The instructions were a little complicated. On the parts its labeled with numbers but on the actual instruction its letters. There is another page that shows which numbers= which letters but not sure why they had to complicate it like that. I see from other reviews that people were stating the measurements were off but I can clearly also see from their photos they were not putting the bed together correctly.They measured the headboard insert and not the full headboard. Also the slats do fit correctly. They have small slits on each one and you need to slide the small insert into them from the bed. Once you do that it fits just fine.

I purchased this almost on a whim after having delivery struggles with the original bed frame I ordered. Ultimately, I'm glad I opted for this one instead.It is extremely easy to put together.It has a nice, sturdy structure, and my mattress does not move around on it.It has a simple, but classy look to it. The metal frame is black, and the wood is more of a slight reddish brown (compared to the photos).It has ample space underneath, which makes for easy cleaning (or storage).

It comes well packaged and was in great shape out of the box except for one rubber wedge that had broken off, but as the instructions said, don’t worry, still work! The instructions are a little tricky to follow. All the parts have numbers to match each other, but don’t have letter labels so you have to compare the parts list to the instructions to make sure you have the right piece, but once you figure out that, it’s very easy to assemble with 2 people. It is also very sturdy and looks sharp. Very happy with the purchase.

Looks exactly like the picture and the build quality of it is exceptionally nice for the price and easy to build. If you’re looking for a bedframe with space underneath for storage this one won’t disappoint!

The frame was super easy to assemble and all of the parts fit perfectly. I was a little nervous because some of the reviews stated that part of the frame was too small and didn’t fit completely, but mines was perfect and I have no issues. The color and style looks super modern and simple, and I love that I don’t need a box spring for this bed, just my mattress. My previous frame was all wood and fell apart after a few years, but since this one is metal I think it will last longer.
