My poor feedback is due to major goof up in setting up high standards.. I received a duplicate product , not from Striff..Striff u need to look into this.. your product has been replaced by a fake one.. in the past I have ordered the same product hence I'm confident this is a rubbish product received. This is really good quality, sturdy and has a great hold on the phone.The hinge is smooth, has staggered locking and doesn't give away any unnecessary movement and nothing feels loose or wobbly. I had bought a different brand that looked like this one when this was unavailable but that was extremely shaky, loose and felt cheap.I bought one and then bought another because my wife used it and liked it so much that she just took it.No regrets or negative points but it was pricey the second time. However, given the benefits, I think I have derived enough value for the money now.

I've been using this constantly since I received it. It's useful for docking my phone when I watch youtube videos. However if the speakers of the phone are at the bottom like my iphone 6 plus and Honor 9N, the sound gets muffled when the phone is rested vertically. My solution is putting my phone in a standard model specific case which lifts the phone without covering the speakers. No more muffled sound!!! Naturally it follows that earphones can only be used when the phone is docked horizontally. I don't know about the durability of this product since I've only had it for a couple of days but it's made of some sort of crisp plastic which seems prone to break under pressure. On the other hand it's easy to carry around and use and I love it. I still prefer this to a popsocket any day.

This is a great phone stand. When looking for one, I initially considered some stands that raised the phone to a height above the table on which the stand would be placed. However, I'm glad I chose this one because, with the phone on the stand, I can easily rest my palm on the table and access the screen with my fingers. If the phone was above the table, my arm would need to be hovering in the air to access the screen, which would be tiring after a while.I did find a small issue with the quality of the stand. Within a week of getting it, the rubber insert in the bottom curve started peeling a bit. See the attached photos. I'm hoping this doesn't affect the functionality of the item over time.
