Love this stuff! Brings out beautiful color

I love it. Yes, you do have to make sure that you cover up items that you don't want to stain. But the results is awesome. Perfect color for my toypoodle

Have a client with a retired champion red poodle that’s fading. We both wanted to restore the red luster. Christensen has had a good reputation ( love the conditioner ) so thought I’d try this. Total waste of time no money.First, took half a bottle to get a decent lather up on a toy poodle. Next, my hands are stained pink since nowhere is there any note to wet gloves ( don’t need to wear gloves on blackening or whitening shampoos by others). Left it on the maximum defined time. Dog also has pink skin and absolutely no change to the tone of the fur. I would have had better results using koolaid.Directions say to mix with other color enhancing shampoos but I’m definitely not risking it with this product brand.Christensen is not inexpensive but it seems as if the company is resting on its historic reputation and gouging at this point. Most products sold under this brand name are seriously overpriced and not of a superior quality to merit the dollars

So so happy with this product! The first pic I added shows his original color, followed by his faded color, followed by his color after using a mix of Red on Red with Gold on Gold. The 2nd pic shows his faded color followed by his enhanced color with the product, literally 1 day apart. My daughter describes his enhanced color as “more saturated” now, which is exactly what I was looking for. The areas of his fur that had faded to cream look a little pinkish-orange now, but not too much so. I will probably just balance more towards the Gold on Gold next time to accommodate for the lighter areas of his fur. I just love that the brassiness is gone and his color is more vibrant now. Make sure to mix with Gold on Gold and/or Black on Black depending on how dark your pup’s darkest fur is.

I used the product on my red standard Poodle whose color is fading a bit as he ages. I would say the one treatment I've given hime was fairly effective, similar to a "get the grey out" product for men. It may take several applications to acheive the full color enhancement.

My golden doodle started to lose his red, and this helped so much! Although it did make his skin a little pink but nothing too crazy. See photos for before and after.

You need to wear gloves when using this because it stains your hands/skin. If you want better results shampoo with other shampoo untill clean, dry your pup with towel and then put red shampoo directly on towel dried fur coat leave for about 10-15 min and rinse.
