I like the gravity switch that turns the element on and off so it doesn't stay on if you walk away. with the mug. It's sensitive enough that an empty mug turns it on so you need to remember to shut it off if you leave an empty mug on it. The surface heats quickly so it's not a problem if you hold the mug for awhile. The highest setting is quite warm, just about as hot as I can drink comfortably.Given the dozens of competing products I looked at, this one stood out to me as having all the right features at a good price.

I had bought 2 of these for White Elephant gifts. My husband ended up with one at the end of one of the parties, lolI had a different one that barely kept my drinks lukewarm. But this one??!! It's fantastic!!I tried it on 2 of the 3 temperature settings and I could definitely tell the difference between the two. I prefer it at the warmest setting of 167.I love the feature of it only coming on when the mug is on the plate. It does take a few minutes to cool down once you are done using it.This is going to be a game changer for me! I'll be able to enjoy my coffee, tea and hot chocolate at a much nicer pace and being able to keep it at a steady temperature instead of having to reheat it, means it will taste better for longer.So far, I'm super happy about this! I'll update this if something changes.

Got this today and immediately plugged it in. It heats up fast and even warmed up my beverage a bit. It works as expected and came in a nice box, suitable for gift giving. I looked at a lot of options and selected this beverage warmer because of the adjustable temperature and excellent ratings. I'll adjust my rating if I have any issues in the near future but so far so good!One thing to note is it comes on via a pressure sensor, so don't put papers or anything else on top of it that might be flammable.

My old coffee warmer was made of plastic, which held the warming plate, and it didn't keep my coffee very hot. It got hot enough to melt the plastic holding up the warming plate though! So I needed a new coffee warmer, and this looked like a good one.Which it is; it's very well made, but I didn't like some of its features (I'd call them bugs instead of features.) There's a button switch on the bottom of the warmer, which is intended to turn off the warmer when the mug is lifted off; but I found that switch was so strong that unless I had a huge cup of coffee, the warmer wouldn't turn on! So at first I glued the switch down. That helped, but for some reason the warmer still turned itself off & on all by itself, and the digital readout sometimes didn't work properly. That won't do!So I took the warmer apart (the assembly screws are under the rubber pads) and found what appeared to be a cold solder joint on one of the parts. Since in a previous life I was an electronics tech, I simply resoldered the circuit board, and while I was at it I removed the bottom switch entirely. Now it works great, and just how I want it to work! I was impressed by how well it was made on the inside- it's no cheap piece of gear, it's put together quite well with quality components.If I was designing it I'd make a few changes though: the switches on top of the warmer (on/off, 3 different temperatures) are all touch switches- I'd like the on/off to be an actual mechanical switch, so that I can be sure it's off when I switch it off. I found it was pretty easy to accidently touch the switch & have it turn on when I wasn't expecting it to, but now that I know it can happen I'm more careful, and put the warmer further out of reach when I'm not using it. Although I've removed the bottom switch, so that it doesn't turn off when I lift the mug, it still does switch off after a certain time (I'm not sure how long that is, I didn't check that.)All in all, I'm quite happy with my 'modified' coffee warmer, but I could only give it 4 stars because of the bottom switch issue. The best things about it are that it does keep my coffee *hot* at 167 degrees and it will hold most any size cup (my old one wouldn't.)

I love that it remains warm only when the cup is on it. I bought it for my elderly mother and she loves it.

This keeps my coffee hot and it is great. I didn't hVe to buy an expensive mug.

I like my coffee and tea very hot and have used various coffee cup warmers over many years. I've found some to be acceptable, but have never found one with all the features I'd like: big surface area for larger mugs, auto shutoff, temperature selection, rubber feet, and temperature readout. This thing has all of those features. In a couple days of use now, I've found that on the high setting (167 degrees) it keeps my coffee at the perfect temperature. (it also has 131 and 149 degree options). It shuts off every time you pick up the mug and comes back on when you set it down. If you forget and leave it on, it shuts off automatically after 4 hours. The surface for your mug is large enough for even my biggest mugs, and is glass/ceramic. It appears to be very well made and solid, and comes in a nice box. I've paid more money for cheaply made warmers with virtually no features other than on and off! I'm going to buy a couple more as spares and one for my TV viewing chair.

Received this item late Dec and already it doesn’t work! It worked for a month and a half.I want it replaced or money back! Should work more than this time frame!!! So disappointed not a happy customer!

For a long time I have been searching for a good mug warmer, some did not have enough power and with some others you had to turn it on and off intermittently otherwise your coffee would became too hot. I am kind of person to drink my tea/coffee slowly sip by sip maybe for an hour. This product was exactly the one I have been looking for. I am using it for a new a few months now, no problem. It has three settings 131, 149, 167 F. You can change the temp as you desire and make your coffee warm or hot. Its surface is not like the old rusty metals. You can clean it easily. In one word, it is just wonderful! Do not hesitate.
