very easy to put up- looks great with my gear on it

I purchased this as I wanted an inexpensive way to store rods. I contemplated making something but looking for ideas, I found this and decided for the $ why the heck not? The only space available is my garage ceiling (finished). This worked perfectly and allows me to grab and go whatever rods I need for my particular fishing plans. It keeps safe and out of harm's way. It also allows me to store them safely in the off season. I like to cover my reels with plastic grocery bags to keep dust off during the winter. I just used a different fastener (washer head cabinet screw) to attach them to the ceiling joists instead of the included screw which was basically a drywall screw. Simple and effective. For off season storage I put a twistie tie around the rack and rod tip just to be safe. For the price and purpose it can't be beat. There is a few versions. This review is for the 9 rod metal wire one. I also had a bunch of silicon tubing hanging around so I slit it and put it over the wire where the rods sit. Now even better with a cushion protecting the rod at all contact points.

This Organized Fishing Horizontal Wire Ceiling Rod Rack is amazingly easy to install and works as advertised. It comes with 4 screws and 4 wall anchors - the anchors are optional and only used if you're not screwing the screws directly into studs. It's coated so won't scratch the rods. It took less than 2 minutes to install, but total time was more like 5 minutes because I took 3 minutes to decide where to put it and how best to keep them out of the way.I know an avid, avid fisherman who has about 100 rods, possibly more. If this sounds familiar then this organizer is probably not what you're looking for, but if you're more a person with just about half a dozen rods then perhaps this is the rod organizer for you.I have it installed on the ceiling of my garage, directly to stud so it's solidly put in place, and I only notice any part of it (with rods/reels and all) if I am actively looking for it. Otherwise, it's out of sight and out of the way. Exactly, what I wanted it to do.

Works well and solid

I have mounted to the ceiling. It is a tight fit but my round ambassadors reels on muskie poles fit. Spend a couple of seconds hanging them up, so much neater. I was actually very happy with the strength of the steel.

I had this in my cart when I ordered other items. Forgot to take it out. And I was in a hurry when I placed the order so I didn’t notice. But I needed one of these badly. It works perfectly to get my expensive fishing rods out of the corner of the room and on the wall. I love this so much I may even order a second one

I found the quality of solder/welds to be quite inadequate. Two joints broke as I was putting it up, but it still held together enough to work, for now. It would be a great rack for ceiling mount otherwise.

I bought 2 of those and each have broken link at the ends.Poor welding job and quality inspection.
