Every Bosch Oxygen Sensor benefits from the technological and manufacturing experience gained from decades of production, since first inventing the Oxygen Sensor in the late 1960's, ensuring long-lasting, superior performance that you can count on. Bosch Oxygen Sensors are 100% tested for full functionality, resulting in a seared appearance of the protection tube, to ensure every Bosch manufactured sensor meets Bosch's rigorous standards for quality and performance. Exclusive double laser-welded stainless steel body is totally submersible and sealed tight to protect against damage from exhaust emissions — ensuring a longer sensor service life. Fast-acting heater optimizes sensor operation on Planar and 3, 4, and 5 wire Thimble type sensors allowing the oxygen sensor to reach its operating temperature quicker – within seconds – for optimum performance. True Direct-fit OE connectors and harnesses, along with threads pre-coated with anti-seize compound right out of the box, make installation simple and hassle-free. It’s critical that oxygen sensors are replaced at the suggested intervals provided by vehicle manufacturers before the sensor fails. Following the recommendations will prevent long term damage to a vehicle’s engine, reduce harmful carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions and save money when refueling your vehicle. Works great in my 1997 Maxima. The splice block that comes with it was simple to install after watching the instructional video. Saved several dollars over the identical sensor with a OEM-style pigtail already attached. Took about 20 minutes extra. Was it worth the extra work? It was for me, but YMMV. Depends if you have more time or money.

Installed both upstream because the scan showed code implied it may be what is causing the engine light to be on. Started first with the MAP sensor then these. The MAP sensor did not solve the problem and at first after installing these the light was still on, then driving the next day the engine light went off and stayed off problem solved. I heard it may take a few starts. Great product,

Bought this for a friend to put on his old 2000 Honda Accord, and it fit perfectly! We were pleased to see that it had anti-seize on the grooves since we had to torch the old O2 Sensor to get it off after 17 years! Now he's getting great gas mileage again, and it even fixed a low rpm idle problem. It's also nice that his car won't smell like a gas station after 1 minute!
