Light does not fit securely, possibly defective
I love the design of the ExpiliOn light mount, and wanted another for my other bike (MTB). The one I use on my road bike, which I use for commuting, is nice and solid (the mount that came with the ExpiliOn 700 light itself). This second mount, however, leaves a lot of play when the light clicks into place. The light can move fore/aft in the mount at least a millimeter, which means there will be more vibration transferred to the light, which is never good for electronics.(Update) I received a replacement mount for this light (they did not ask me to return the first one), and it has the same problem of loose fit.I'm hoping I can rig something on this mount to allow the headlight to fit more snugly.(2nd Updated) I cut a small piece of Velox fabric rim tape I had laying around, and adhered it to the inside of the "channel" on the top of the mount. Now the light fits perfectly snug, maybe even a little more snug than my original mount. So now it all works perfectly. Upping the review to 4 stars because it's a solid mount, but I had to mod it slightly (though it was a free mod).

A bit too stiff...
I bought this as a second mount for my other bicycle so I didn't need take the mount from one bike to another. However the tab that locks the light into place is too stiff and breaks after a moderate amount of usage. So after the original that came with the light broke I;m down to one again. Now I just bought another to replace the one that broke.I learned my lesson though. Now I file the tab on the mount down a bit so it doesn't take as much pleasure to unhook it. Also despite the filling the tab still holds the light tightly too.

Gets the job done, but takes so much effort
The cut feels very poorly done, it's extremely tight and although it physically fits the Cygolite Metro (as specified in description), it takes a lot of pushing and yanking. You may end up dropping the $59.95 flashlight on the ground a couple times due to this handlebar bracket.I end up ordering another bracket from my local bike shop who ordered the product straight from Cygolite. It costs approximately a dollar more but this time, the bracket actually works smoothly. It makes me wonder if this vendor sold me a bad batch or a terribly made out-sourced batch made to look like Cygolite's.

Good aftermarket replacement
This is a good, cheap replacement. It is clearly NOT made by the same company because the fit and finish is different from the original, but it works just fine with the Metro360.I had to wrap black electrician's tape around my handlebar when installing it so that it didn't rotate up and down, but that was easy to do and one-time only. Now it's a very sturdy fit, which is good because the effort required to unmount the light from this fixture is much larger than the stock part because of a tighter fit.

Very Very nice
I am pretty sure this is a original part by Cygolite so it is really good. I installed it and had no problems with it, The only problem I had was I actually have undersized handle bars to I had to wrap electrical tape under it to waste some space and make it tight. That has advantages though. The bracket burrows down into the tape and makes it even harder to spin. My only problem with this was not with the product but the packaging, I ordered two bike locks with it from the same place and they shipped all three item separately in separate packages. My whole reason for ordering the locks from them is for less packaging. I know it's stupid and frivolous.

Worse than Original Bracket
Does indeed fit a Cygolite Expellion, good on them for that. However this is not an identical replacement for an Expellion bracket that came with your light. If you have anything other than an old school steel handlebar you will have a difficult time fitting this bracket to your handlebars, even without the spacers.2 stars because the image depicted looks far more like my old bracket than the new one. Deceptive.Compared to the original bracket the opening is far more oval shaped which seems to be the root of the problem. If you need a new bracket but want to mount this over bar tape, have to mount it over cabling, or have cables beneath your bar tape, you are going to have a bad time.

Too loose.
Maybe they need to revisit this mount. I ordered it to replace the original one that came with my cygolite lights. The problem is that if you tighten it to keep it steady facing straight, the screw that connects the top rotating part to the clip part will rip right through the plastic. Now, I'm no engineer but that could easily be fixed.

Solid Replacement Mount for Cygolite
This bracket improves on the replacement bracket that had previously been offered. The knob to tighten the bracket onto the bike is improved and the rubber does a better job of holding on to the handlebars. I had purchased one of these several years ago when my original bracket walked away. After three years, the tab on it broke and I replaced it with my current one.If you're looking for a way to use your Cygolite on a second bicycle or if the original breaks, you won't go wrong with this.
