Nice ruler- NOT a Center Finding ruler...
Originally purchased as a Centering ruler, which calls out measurements starting from the center of the ruler instead of the end. Those types of rulers are essential for symmetrical layout. .I bought this because Amazon had it in my search results. I didn't realize Amazon returned the result based on the brand name "Centerpoint"Had to reorder the correct one... Oh well.

Easy to read
Very easy to read - not a bunch of "32th's" marking up the ruler making it hard to read the 16th's and 8th's - Center point is a great feature -

Nice for sewing
I use this for sewing projects when a foot is too small and a yard stick is way too big. I also like that it’s metal so I can use my rotary cutter with it.

Much better value than big box stores
Measures what I needed it to. Nice straight edge. Starts at zero. Goes to sixteenths so it's easily read. Stout enough not to be permanently bent it lays nice and flat.

Amazing shop tool!
Where has this thing been all my life? I can figure out the fractions, but this makes life so much easier. Take the measuementon the top, and match it on the bottom, and dead center every time. I checked it out with a more expensive shop scale, and it's right on the money. It's thin, and markings are only on one side, but hey, it has a hole for mouning it on the wall. Hang it up, when not in use, take care of it, and put a light coat of oil on it, and it will last for yrs. Thanks Woodline and Amazon.

Centering straight edge ruler
It's hard to find a 24' ruler. I have to do a lot of centering when cutting mats for different size painting projects. The Center Point helps me solve a lot of measuring problems. The only reason it does not have 5 stars is because there is no anti-slide material on the back to keep the ruler from sliding.

Not square
Not even sure this thing has a sqaure edge, I bought it to check my cylinder head for warp and one side sits flush against the head and the other has gaps between the head and the ruler. Not quality for my use. It is well printed and easy to read and I suppose if all your doing is measuring you'd be fine to use this but dont expect a sqaure edge.
