Clever device
For something so cheap it really makes it easy to clamp up a frame for nailing

Great product.
Looks great and works like a treat. Might need another.

Not As Durable As Expected
I guess I didn't know my own strength, but more likely it was a poor design to use plastic instead of metal at the point of most tension. Got about halfway with my box joint before the plastic piece became shrapnel. I would not recommend this to be used for anything other than more delicate pieces.

Results will vary
I ordered two of these because I wanted to try out some band clamps. Using them the both the same way, on the same glue up, on the same project, at the same time; one failed and broke where several other people noted there was a design flaw, and the other one worked fine and has continued to work fine. I am guessing there is some sort of quality control issue at the manufacturer that will give you mixed results with these clamps. I ended up buying a couple more from a different company because I am gun shy spending any more on this with a 50% failure rate. Please note the one that didn't break is holding up just fine in the half dozen times I have used it since it's twin failed, hence the middle of the road review.

Broke in first 10 seconds of use
Started tightening the clamp, and then boom! the thing broke. After looking more closely, it turns out all the clamping tension goes right against an incredibly flimsy piece of plastic on the sides of the clamp, terrible design (most of the parts on this clamp look solid enough, it's just this one spot that takes all the tension is paper-thin plastic. Get a different one, not this one. I have some of the ratcheting tie-down style band clamps and they seem much better.
