Beck/Arnley 201-1087 Stop Light Switch

Had a problem with leak at plastic on switch and contacted seller received new unit in one dayVery impressed with serviceInstalled second sender and it leaked also at plasticMust be defective supplier issueWill return both units

Fix a leak on my Polaris snowmobile. And this worked well to fix the hydraulic brake on Polaris Indy 500.

I had used other less expensive ones with little success. Hopefully, This one is of better quality and will last longer than a summer!

It leaked from the terminal side of the switch,so not only did it leak brake fluid it made my brakes mushy.At first I thought it was leaking from the thread fitting into the brake line but was actually coming out the front and leaking all over the two terminals and wiresTried to contact support but no reply as of date of review.I would avoid this switch and spend a little more on another brand.It just felt cheap to begin with and was lighter in weight than the one than the one I replaced it with, but I guess you get what you pay for. these days..EDIT:Customer service did contact me and Amazon refunded my money.I give them 4 stars for customer service because overall that is VERY important to me.

I bought a UTV on which someone previously added a momentary switch to the dashboard. You had to press the switch while turning the key to start it. Turns out, this simple and inexpensive 'switch' sensor needed to be replaced. Now, I can just depress the brake as the engineers intended. This restored that safety step, and was so much more of a simple solution than their wired/drilled/ extra component workaround. This part was an exact form, fit, and function replacement for the original.

Works as intended

I was hoping this would work because the price is right, but once again I get hit by the "you get what you pay for" adage. I'm not discouraged and will keep trying for bargains here on Amazon, but this switch leaked out of the Bakelite switch end (not the threaded end) on initial install. My bargain hunting is possible because of Amazon's excellent return policy, something I judge as the best in the business. If you don't have the luxury of the time it takes to replace an item it is probably best to pay more to get it right the first time.
