Can Vanicream be used on Burns?

It helps me, but dont use this cream in the sun, i feel as though it amplifies the sun burn. But everyones skin is different.

Purified water, white petrolatum, sorbitol solution, cetearyl alcohol, propylene glycol, ceteareth-20, simethicone, glyceryl monostearate, polyethylene glycol monostearate, sorbic acid, and BHT. It's also free of dyes, lanolin, masking fragrance, fragrance, parabens, and formaldehyde.

What is the difference between the ointment and cream (besides the obvious). This would be for my face so I assume the cream would be less greasy.

The ointment is thick and clear. The cream is opaque white and lighter in feel. I have used both for different issues. The ointment is very thick and keeps the skin moist for longer, but it can mark clothing or pillow cases or other cloth. The cream seems to "soak in" more. Hope this helps.

Is this cream unscented?

It is free of dyes, fragrance, masking fragrance, lanolin, parabens and formaldehyde. It is very gentleand comes in regular and Vanicream Lite.
